Will be interesting to see who the next MVP is that will have their season ended by the actual best player in the NFL.

I think the awards are mostly fair but I think I’d have had Lamar as MVP. Allen isn’t like egregious though. It’s clear he was more relatively valuable for his team than Lamar was. In my view anyway.

Yeah fully agree with that. Lamar had the better QB season especially stat wise but Allen dragged a worse team to a better record imo.
 
They should just change the mvp to QB of the year and then remove QB's from the other awards. Joe burrow played 10 games the season before and was pretty good in that so no way should he be comeback player of the year.
 
Vic Fangio should have won assistant coach. He turned Sean Desai's ranked last defense into the ranked 1st defense. There's no bigger improvement a coordinator can do than that. 2 out of 3 of his starting CBs are rookies, 1 of his starting safeties was a UDFA, he turned a special teams guy and bit-part pass rusher into one of the best ILBs in the league, and it's the first year that both Milton Williams and Jordan Davis have looked consistently good.
 
Is “MVP” just a fancy name for QB of the year? Honestly can’t remember the last time a player that wasn’t a QB won this award. Must have been Peterson in 2012 iirc

It’s hard to argue that the most valuable player is anyone other than a quarterback. Put Lamar or Allen on the Giants instead of Barkley for the last few years and they vastly improve their win record.

I would just like to say to @Ayush_reddevil @OnlyTwoDaSilvas and @Sandyman that I wish you all the best and that we have a good game tomorrow. I really loved the hospitality I had in Philly and if we weren't in this game then I'd be rooting for the Eagles. Go Birds Chiefs!

Read that he’s dead last in the league for a bunch of important stats when pressured, but can’t find the Tweet anymore. If that’s true then I fear KC might fire up a defensive masterclass once again.

If I can bet somewhere on Chiefs losing after 3Q and double digits at some point in the game but still winning it, I’ll probably do it.

Brady at Colin Cowherd is worth a watch too. 3-2 or 4-1 makes such a difference to Mahomes - if he had won his SB against Brady; it could’ve been 5-6 after tonight.

Brady was like the Kuechly on the offensive side of the ball. For all the talk about his drive and leadership and stuff like that, processing the game and figuring out the defensive set-up pre-snap might’ve been the most important thing of them all.
 
Have a feeling KC will hold Saquon to under 100 yards, they tend to do very well against elite RBs (Henry, CMC).

Good one. This is a lose lose Super Bowl though. Or as they say in the States “ the Big Game” since the name Super Bowl is licensed and not all media outlets can say it. One one hand you have the circus of Swift and the possibility on a three peat. On the other a fan base of ducky boys and the nastiness that comes with them and their prick of a coach. Ill just just root for my numbers in my boxes
