NFL 2024 | Super Bowl LIX

Arenas, maybe not.

This is very flat and unengaging
For me half of the genius of Kendrick is the production on the albums like TPAB or GKMC.

You just lose all of that in a live setting. Plus he's censoring half of the words. Just doesn't work.

I’ve seen Kendrick live a couple of times, and felt the same as this. I just don’t get it. The jazzier stuff sounds good in his albums, but his voice just isn’t particularly pleasant to hear. Can’t think of another mainstream rapper I’ve thought the same about, it just makes his music difficult to enjoy.

Like always with hip hop, if you didn’t like it, that’s okay, it wasn’t aimed at you.

It was good. Don’t think it was wow or anything but he did good.

Saw him perform TPAB but that was a smaller venue and the music carried better. He doesn't make arena music.

Kanye would have been great, shame about that fatal car accident 10 years ago

Probably because you're a Kendrick fan. Same here but I can see how it's not for the majority.

Yea most likely.

Although even setting aside my liking for Kendrick it’s amusing enough just for Drake to be called a nonce in front of an audience that large.

They should bring out Andre Rieu with elephants n horses n shit one of these years.
Thats the draw of the half time show honestly, the spectacle of it, the stunts, the fireworks, the colorful over the top costumes. If I want to listen to the music I can just log on to Spotify.
