Still has the Dolphins outfit banner. I seriously wonder who's gonna pay his wages if he leaves.

The Jags have fired Doug Pederson but have decided to keep Trent Baalke as their GM. Should have fired both.

Giants have decided to keep Daboll for another year.
People around the league are supposedly shocked Baalke survived.

If you’re a hot HC candidate, what do you go with: TLaw and Baalke in a light division bar the Texans or CW, Poles, and the NFC North?

Ravens Saturday night, Commanders Sunday night. And we might get more snow next weekend. Could be a fun weekend in Maryland

You're not kidding. Lived in the DC area for a while and it's shocking how much the white stuff paralyzes that entire area. I was there for snowpocalypse and it was like scenes from the Walking Dead.

How in the hell does Brian Daboll get to keep his job? Also, the Bears supposedly being interested in interviewing Mike McCarthy should be very concerning for Chicago fans. Same with the Jets being interested enough to interview Rex Ryan for NY fans. Woodward levels of ineptitude. How do these billionaires consistently get things so wrong?

Random question but I’m gonna be in NY this December, so presumably with them sharing the stadium there must be a game on a MetLife every sunday?

What’s the likelihood and potential cost of getting tickets? Anybody know?
I’ve been to a couple games now at MetLife. Very good chance there will be a game. But sometimes both the Jets and Giants are on the road.

Ticket prices really depend of course on where you want to sit, but also what the match-up is. That can swing prices quite widely. Good thing is getting a hold of a ticket is very very easy with the ticket exchange, so you’ll have plenty of options.

Yea remember you saying you lived around here for a while. It’s not the Midwest but it’s not the Deep South, there’s enough history of snow they should know how to deal with it. It’s still falling here since 3am and a few more hours to go. They ploughed our road around 7am and nothing since. Worried my wife is expected to go in tomorrow

Hmm, bit of a strange move... didn't seem like Zeke had anything left in the tank while in Dallas this year

Also surprised to learn he hasn't turned 30 yet

One dobbins injury scare and they've got no one. Obviously not a great choice, but I think this shows why Harbaugh should be a legit coach of the year candidate. He's going into a playoff game as favourite with basically a thrown together team of no-name players, and now they are picking up the equivalent of a "warm body" just to make up the numbers.

Agree that he should get COTY considerarions as he seems to have completely flipped the culture at the team, but “a bunch of no name players” is a bridge too far imo. They’ve got a top 8 QB, a rookie and sophomore 1st round WRs, and stars on defense like Derwin James, Bosa, (aging) Mack and other good players.

To me, playoffs should be the expectation for this team regardless of HC.

With coaches getting fired and everything, which team would you say has the toughest rebuild in front of them? Looking at the teams and their cap, I can’t look past the Saints. Severe lack of talent, no QB in sight, they only pick ninth and the cap situation is horrible.

Jets and Giants. It starts at the top. I'd add the Bears too, but at least they have their QB and plenty of cap space. While Derek Carr isn't top-tier, he's a competent NFL QB when healthy.

Practice squad.

Chargers fans aren't particularly impressed and view this as validation that Harbaugh thinks Gus' ankle may be more injured than previously thought.

Michigan coach with two Ohio State RBs on his roster. ;)

Technically, McConkey was a 2nd round pick (34th overall). Playoffs is a high bar for a team who previously had 5 wins and picked 5th in the draft, but was my expectation for this team due to Harbaugh.

Oh yeah. But the NY teams go beyond a normal rebuild. They need a change in ownership. Especially the Jets.

Oh yeah, really thought McConkey was very late first but makes sense obviously since you had the Joe Alt pick. But indeed, the expectations should’ve been kinda like the season they actually had.

I think the Patriots rebuild is pretty grim. Not the worst though. We have a young QB who has shown potential, a high draft pick, and a lot of cap space. But damn, our lack of talent is unreal. And when that happens, teams typically go and overpay too much in free agency.

Maye, Gonzalez and Christian Barmore (who has health issues) That's about it, in terms of top end talent.

Henry, Stevenson, Douglas and Dugger also decent enough. Onwenu had a bit of a down year but the O-line and offense in general just a shower of shit.

We are miles away. And if Drake Maye isn’t “the one” then we are fecked sideways

Yes we are. I really liked what I saw from Maye though, think he'll kick on well if they put pieces around him.

Yeah, me too. We just need to be really specific and precise on where we invest this year. Obviously, we won’t be competitive. But, we need to make sure we prioritise in areas which will allow Maye to continue developing otherwise we also risk a year-two slide a bit like Mac Jones had.
