NFL 2024 | Lions vs Vikings - Winner takes all

Andy Reid playing 4d chess by giving the Broncos a huge confidence boost going into their Wild Card game against the Bills.

Nice that Barkley's play was #1 redzone play of the year. I was at the game and went absolutely nuts shouting "he hurdled him backwards" and it seemed no one else around me saw it properly until they showed the replay on the screen and then the fans reacted.

Arnold holding his achilles. Another huge injury for the Lions if that's the case.

How does that even make sense?

Don’t know if he was the answer but he essentially did as well as BB’s last season. Theres no talent on the roster really. What did they expect?
Elliot Wolf would've gone before him for me, he gave him absolutely nothing to work with

I don’t understand everyone gushing over Mike Evans’ record. Sure, consistency and availability are nice things, but averaging ~60 yards a game is nothing special (I know he missed some games this sesson), and he’s never been an All-Pro during the streak let alone a top 5 player at his own position. I think 3 of the 11 he was peppered with targets in Week 18 to make sure the streak remained alive.

Lions deservedly got the bye, Gibbs went nuclear in that one. Should be the favorites to come out of the NFC at this point, will be hard to beat them at Ford Field for any team. Losing Arnold could be yet another big loss though.

Oh and pathetic behavior by the Chiefs but what else is new. Didn’t even want to make it look like they tried. I’m doing Dry January but I’ll definitely pop a bottle in the unlikely event they get a loss this month.

Vikings
Buccaneers
Eagles

Chargers
Ravens
Bills

Those will make it.
Not confident in your chances?

Agree with most of that yeah. Perhaps the Chargers will Bolt it up in Houston, wouldn’t be the first time they feck up a WC game.

The defender massively regressed.
Ridiculous penalties that never would happen in BB’s era.
Throwing others under the bus.
Ridiculous press conferences “burn some cash,” and saying he can’t help the players once they are between the sidelines.
BB had Mac Jones and Zappe. Mayo had Drake Maye.

Literally the worst team in the NFL if it wasn’t for the fact the Bills third stringers were actively trying to prevent the Pats getting the 1st pick.

Considering that we lost all games against really good teams (Vikings and Lions twice and the Eagles) and seeing us struggle against the Bears and with Alexander out for the playoffs, I don’t like them. Still think we’re good enough to win a game. But the Eagles are a huge task. I’d have had us as favorites against the Rams, Buccs and Commanders.

About as poor a take re: Evans as your proclamation that Caleb Williams is the best dual threat QB who has ever come out of college.

Tyreek saying he's going to leave the Fins. It'll be interesting to see who wants him as he's a hefty contract.

The Jags have fired Doug Pederson but have decided to keep Trent Baalke as their GM. Should have fired both.

Giants have decided to keep Daboll for another year.

Well Caleb has had a "good rookie season" I believe. Heard it on the caf.

Today I learnt that it's pathetic to rest all your players for one game to avoid injury when your playoff spot is locked up. I also learnt last October that it's okay to advocate that your team starts tanking after only 7 games.

Just too many injuries at this point. Two best WRs out, Carr out, Kamara always on the injury report and multiple injuries to our starting O-Line.

Happy that the Game in 40 wasn't available yet this morning and I had to make do with the YouTube highlights compilation. Stopped watching after the second Javonte TD because the only Saints highlights were incomplete passes on 3th & long.

Better to start tanking now, especially with how well the Buccaneers and Falcons have been playing the last few weeks.
