NFL 2024 | Divisional Round

I mean romo said it was an awful call and the tackle done what he's taught to do but carry on
I think in the interest of objectivity (which you apparently have and I don't) they should dedicate a full ten minutes of TV time to it. They also should have gone back to the Sky Sports studio and had a debate for a few minutes on whether certain teams get the calls. In the interest of objectivity they should be doing this and no doubt you're in agreement right?

Honestly, are you that insecure? It would be great not to have the thread filled with boring arguments that wouldn’t look out of place as Twitter replies.

I'm just giving a counterpoint to all the twitter like replies. It's a bit of a shame because I actually liked @arnie_ni and yet he decided to join in an pile on. But apart from a few on here, I don't particularly care what most of you all think of me and I know I'm not well liked because of it. If you think that makes me insecure then that's fine.

All you need to say is it was a bullshit call on the flag, every team gets them, just call it as it is.

The insecurity is that you feel the need to defend against anything remotely negative about the chiefs. It’s probably sensible not to care what people on the internet think about you, but when people are constantly telling you that they’re having to mute you, it might be good to have a bit of self awareness about it for the sake of everyone else’s enjoyment in the thread.

Anyway, I’ve said my bit, I’ll get on with enjoying the game.

Personally, i think the Chiefs getting all the calls is massively blown out of proportion. When you're good you're noticed. All your games are picked apart to the nth degree. If the Panthers got a bunch of calls, nobody woild either notice or care. Liverpool used to get all the calls in the 70s and 80s. United in the 90s, 2000s and so on. It was never really true, but when you're the best all the haters have got to have an excuse as to why their team isn't winning when the real reason is that their team is just not good enough.

Imagine not having Henry on the field here with 3 mins a timeout and 2 min warning after running all over them the 2nd half
