I don't agree with QBs getting flags for hits when they are diving down just as they are hit. But it's happened constantly this season for other quarterbacks. The whole furore over this call is just kind of silly and I don't believe for one second that only Mahomes gets a call for getting smashed in the side of his head when giving himself up. The fact that the defender then hits his own player harder afterwards is irrelevant.
