NFL 2023

Rams @ Lions

I hope the Packers dump out the Cowboys man.

Packers @ Niners
Eagles ??? @ Lions

Frustrating sloppy ending. Really wish we had sent rams to Dallas but I guess rams in Detroit is big

Typical Seahawks late game bullshit, Cardinals miss a late field goal, the Seahawks finally do something on offence to take the lead and then the Cardinals miss a second field goal. Of course.

American football coaches are a pretentious bunch. Football managers having hissy fits on the sideline when the opposition score in the 93rd minute when they were already 4-0 up!

This is pro football not peewee football. Grow up and play the game for 60 minutes

Top of the draft is now set. Going with:
  1. CHI - Caleb Williams QB
  2. DC - Drake Maye QB
  3. NE - Jayden Daniels QB
  4. AZ - Marvin Harrison Jr WR
  5. LAC - Joe Alt OT

Just because I'm bored, my playoffs prediction:
Browns @ Texans
Fins @ Chiefs
Steelers @ Bills

Eagles
@ Buccs
Rams @ Lions
Packers @ Cowboys
------
Texans @ Ravens
Chiefs
@ Bills

Rams @ Niners
Eagles @ Cowboys
------
Chiefs @ Ravens
Cowboys @ Niners
------
Super Bowl: Ravens vs Niners

Rams as the biggest dark horse for me, could upset the Niners in the Divisional Round as well. Bills are a better team than the Chiefs imo but Mahomes will get it done at least one more time against the odds. Eagles biggest question mark but I just don't really rate the Buccaneers. Cowboys at home would blow out either one of them though imo.

Could watch this play all day. Love the commitment displayed by AWJ. Best safety in the league...

Hoping the Broncos lose tonight tbh.

Beating the Raiders would be nice don’t get me wrong, but I think we’d jump two draft spots if we do lose, with NOLO winning, and I think we’d leapfrog Raiders.

And if the Vikings can win that might be another spot.

Moved from 14 to 12 in the draft, definitely worth a meaningless loss in week 18 imo.

Not that they’ll be able to fix the problems. Sigh.

I'm jealous.
I hope the Falcons lose every game in miserable fashion next season to be fair, but I have too much Drake London exposure in dynasty to let Arthur Smith ruin his career.

Are we expected to go forward with both DA and Derek Carr?

Back to back MNF playoff games these past two seasons, wasn't expecting that.

Tuesday's going to be a challenge work-wise.

I don't really expect us to do much in the playoffs and considering how young our team is, that is ok. But it would be great if we could win against Dallas by virtue of a Mike McCarthy time management screw up. Just once I want to be on the other side of his stupidity.

I think Baltimore-SF over the holidays was a Superb Owl preview, but it looks different without all the turnovers.

By the way: Super excited that the Bills secured second seed, this is a pretty decent way to start the playoffs. Not really happy with the way the last three games went down, feels like this team can beat anyone and lose to anyone as well. If only there was a way for Allen to play a match without his mandatory interception...

Browns, 20-17 - Flacco, Browns defense comes up big on the road
Chiefs, 23-20 - Chiefs defense holds off Dolphins again
Bills, 27-10 - Pittsburgh won't produce offense and may get behind early lessening running game usage
Cowboys, 34-24 - Potential shootout but Dallas makes more big plays
Rams, 27-26 - Upset special in Detroit as Stafford goes nuclear
Bucs, 19-16 - If the Eagles the last few weeks show up I think Baker makes just enough plays to win

Packers @ Cowboys - I think this is a potential bad matchup for Dallas as Green Bay can run efficiently and Love can make throws all around. If Dallas gets a sizeable lead early they'll probably cruise but if Green Bay can hold the lead or hang within a score it should be a wild finish. Packers are playing with house money, all pressure on Dallas to win.

Yes and yes, sadly.

Sucks for the Lions to lose Ben Johnson but he's due for a HC job after what he's done with their offense the past seasons. I hope he goes to the Falcons but Commanders wouldn't be a bad spot for him either with Bieniemy as his OC there (if he stays).

Getting twitchy about Moody now, might have the yips. Misses from within 40yds and misses his first XP of the season. Not good going into the playoffs.

On the other hand seems everyone bar some of the depth pieces will be fit!

I’d really love to see the Fins go all the way, this years in-season Hard Knocks has been the best version of that show in years.

Sadly they’ll most likely come unstuck against the KC Refs. Bite pee-ro, bite!

They have some very likeable characters in the building, McDaniel first, but on the other hand they're quite the flat-track bully as well. 11-6 but only one win against a team with a winning record this season. Losses: Bills twice, Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens and Titans. They just falter in big games, which is why I expect the Chiefs to win that one even though they have been quite average themselves this season. Playoff Mahomes is a different animal to go against.

Yea no doubt, and I’m sure Kelse will turn into his usual self as well.

And that lone win against a winning opponent was basically a late defensive choke job (including bonehead facemask flag by Clark) by Dallas also involving some bizarre play offensive calls and clock mismanagement from McCarthy on the Cowboys last drive to take the lead.

I know it was the right thing to do, but Lamar not playing for two weeks does concern me. And the Steelers getting in the playoffs is blah.

Pats fans are a special breed.

Boston fans lucked out over a 20-year span with all their sports teams consistently in the mix for titles and winning titles - 24 final appearances since 2001. That's unparalleled across cities in the modern era since expansion across the continent.

Guess they'll revert back to to their sad losers mode barring the Celtics or Bruins rising up this year.

Love it how there's an OL man blocking ahead of Lynch when he is at the 20. What a fecking run.

22 should have just quit football after that play...

I wouldn’t cut Winston. Well, rather, I don’t care if they cut him. He’s a useful backup but I have no interest in whether he stays beyond this season or not. I’d fire Dennis Allen today though. He’s right about that. The players have zero respect for him and I wouldn’t respect him either if I was on that Saints team. Fire him today.

I should probably mention the Bucs making the playoffs the season after Brady leaves...

"Tyreek Hill for MVP! Tyreek! Tyreek! Tyreek!"

Wow, Titans fired Mike Vrabel. Didn’t see that one coming, he’s one of the better HCs in the league imo.
