NFL 2023

Wow Zeke may be right about the Patriots tanking when they are winning by positions

Commanders shooting up the draft list. A lot of their fans were hot on their current QB earlier in the season but with a higher pick and his recent bollocks performances I think it’s increasingly likely they draft one. Still have cowboys and niners to play too

Another very typical away performance from Dallas. Not bad, but not enough.

I'm just trying to enjoy the regular season as much as I can because the Cowboys will be 1 and done in the playoffs as per usual. This team simply can't get it done on the road against half decent opposition.

When you get hit so hard your face becomes a Picasso painting.

Fortunately, they'll get the NFC South winner in the first round barring a Philly collapse gifting the division to Dallas. If Dallas cannot beat a bang average team on the road...

Don't think we will lay down as timidly as we did to y'all last playoffs.

No doubt, and it would not surprise me if Baker lights them up and Dallas is a different team on grass let alone the road. Dallas is clearly the better team than any NFC South side and should win.

Tampa won't be as easy as Dallas thinks. I could see an upset.

Who thinks it's gunna be easy? I've certainly seen no talk of that. It's been more along the lines of "if we can't beat Tampa then we don't deserve it anyway" kind of talk.

I do think Dallas will win but Tampa will make sure we earn it.

Not many people had/have Baker as a serious threat come playoff time but Dallas with that gambling secondary could be a good match up.

That Mayfield -> Evans matchup is definitely enough to give the Cowboys secondary all kinds of trouble.

Teams like the Jets, Pats, Vikes, Steelers, Raiders have gotta be kicking themselves for not picking up Flacco when he was available

He’s averaged roughly a 139 QB rating over the past two games, 110 over the past four. He seems to be finding himself leading into the most important game of the season.

Interesting comparison…

Can't get the clip started exactly perfect, but it is the second play at 9:24. Would this play result in a defensive penalty in the NFL today or is it just a poor ball thrown by the QB & a great hit dislodging the ball from the receiver?

The AFC was a bit of a murderers row the past couple of seasons but it just looks pitiful now. If the Ravens don’t show up vs the Niners then it’s going to look worse.

AFC is still way stronger than the NFC, it’s just the stats look worse as do the records due to the competitiveness of the conference - and teams have had rather odd seasons for a mix of reasons. It’s wide open this year.

Didn't expect to get home for the xmas party to such a score. Interesting.

Not sure about that any more - there are maybe the Dolphins and Ravens looking strong in the AFC and then Detroit,

Maybe on paper but not the way they’re playing at the minute. There’s only the Ravens and Dolphins looking anywhere near SB calibre in the AFC, whereas the NFC have the Lions, Niners, Cowboys. With the likes of the Eagles and even the Rams being not far off. Even the Bucs look better than the likes of the Bills and the Chiefs at the minute.
