NFL 2023

It's kinda of hilarious to me to see how average they are after an old work colleague, who is a season ticket holder, exclaim they were the 92 Cowboys reincarnate before the season started.

I have a soft spot for them and it has looked good with Doug for a while but the wheels are well off now.

I moved to Tampa four years ago so kinda wanted to adopt Jags as my AFC team going forward, but the fan base can be obnoxiously loud for a club that has never achieved anything of note; I also struggle to seriously root for any club outside my hometown team, Dallas.

Spicola is a turnover machine as well not sure how they cure the fumbles.

Can't breathe on QBs these days, let alone touch them.
Rewatched the 1993 FSU / UM no huddle game on YT the other day & I had to start it over from halftime to jot down how many players would have received personal fouls / ejections in today’s college or pro game. I was up to a dozen at halftime & gave up.

Those two plays were the first not helmed by Lawrence since he came into the league 50ish games ago.

You’ve got to be kidding me.

The game’s gone if that is roughing the passer on Devin White.

Embarrassing call.

I get the line is not helping and the receivers may not get separation but Dak still makes some bizarre decisions on his throws. Seems to throw short in situations where the receiver clearly cannot make the first down line and often facing towards Dak which adds more difficulty to converting.

Starting to round into form a bit.

Would love to see Godwin & White focused a bit in the last two games to get each over a thousand receiving & rushing respectively.

Miami will win this, that facemask call just basically cements Miami getting into FG range with minimal effort and probably with less than 2 minutes. I'd rather they let Miami get a touchdown pass and give the offense a chance with 1-2 minutes, don't see Dallas defense making a game-winning play but maybe I'll be wrong.

Big play this

Edit. Huge for Dolphins. Tick tock

Bet McCarthy wished he hadn't tried to be so cute at 1st-G at the 1/2 yard line with a drop back pass, cost them about 50 seconds.

But go back to the opening drive fumble on 1st-G at the 1. Discipline and coaching is why they will never win it again, at least in Jerry's remaining time.

That’s a class win for Miami. Doesn’t change anything for the cowboys in terms of the playoffs tbh but can’t see how this team can beat the Niners in the playoffs

When you get hit so hard your face becomes a Picasso painting.
