An optimist would say we almost won despite tripping all over ourselves and doing nearly everything wrong. A pessimist would say we looked like a poorly coached team.

Me…I’d just say the Seahawks cheerleaders have fantastic shorts.

Problem is that AFC is so loaded and especially AFC west. The margin for error is so small

Didn't way the game. Was the weather bad or something? What caused only three points combined to be scored in the second half?
No, the weather was fine. The Broncos fumbled twice on the one yard line and the field goal was another long drive before making one of the dumbest coaching decisions I've ever seen on the final drive - going for a 64 yard kick instead of a 4th and 5. The Seahawks managed one decent drive which Metcalf fumbled away and the other drives were punts or kneel downs.

Colts, 49ers, Broncos, Titans… even the Saints being run close… know it’s week 1, but the score lines for these matches really surprised me. Bengals too I suppose but for some reason I always thought that’d not be an easy opener.

Anyone going against the Chiefs in w2?

Fookin night games man. The first of 3 in 4 day weeks.

Given his brother is Sterling, you just know he is sitting on more stuff that he probably can't say as well.

Shannon Sharpe is the best thing on TV.

He's brilliant & isn't afraid to share his opinions. Shame he has to do a show with Skip though, I can't stand him.

I can’t stand Shannon Sharpe but that was brilliant.

Shannon and Skip both have such ridiculously over the top opinions that it’s unwatchable.

Belter of a TNF matchup tonight  And these H2H games will be mightily important in the AFC West. Neither Mahomes nor Herbert can afford to have a bad game tonight.

Keenan Allen already ruled out for the Chargers, but JC Jackson could make his season debut. The Chiefs will be without Butker who's already ruled out after his ankle(?) injury last week.

Injuries are the main downside to this sport man. It’s a war of attrition every year.
Yeah indeed. It's "fine" if someone misses a few weeks because of a sprained ankle or pulled hamstrings, but those season-ending injuries in Week 1 or 2 are devastating.

Early doors but this is not looking good.

We are continuing last season's trend of playing more conservative football at home. Doesn't help when your O line are playing like shite.

Incredible from Mahomes for that TD. Finally up to speed.

Not the greatest game for the neutral. Their defense has dominated us and the only reason why it's 10-7 is because the Chargers have been sloppy on 3rd down. Us keeping them to 1 TD and a field goal is nothing to do with our defense which has been as poor as our offense.

That was an incredible catch. feck sake.

Hey Spags. Just an idea. Cover the guy Herbert is throwing to on every play perhaps?

Think I'll just go to bed. There's no fecking way we are winning this.
