NFL 2022

Not sure if this is aimed at me, but I said this:

Saying they had a legitimate shot sitting at 8-0 and an incredibly soft schedule does not equal actually thinking they'd go 17-0. I'm not taking an L here :p

"For decades" is also pretty bold given that in the last two decades alone, there has been a 16-0 team and three 15-1 teams. It's incredibly hard but also not out of the realm of possibilities either imo.
I said it was possible because of their schedule. I think it's the kindest set of fixtures I've seen a good team have since I started watching NFL. Bit of a joke when you compare it to some of the top AFC teams and their schedule so far.
A bit snarky on my part, the last line, wasn’t leveling it at anyone in particular. I just don’t think we’ll see an undefeated team in my lifetime due to structural headwinds & a possible lurch happening towards true parity we might be seeing this year.

Not sure about that as it really was on this year. Eagles are obviously a decent team and their schedule was just ridiculously soft.

There is a chance of them just kidding the one game and that's a have they could have easily won.

Who is to say we won't see a similar case in the next few years of a really good team taking full advantage of a weak schedule

Tua for MVP? 2nd year guys Fields and TLaw getting their feet under them a bit, enough to be encouraging.

Now that the Eagles have lost (and assuming they lose a couple more, which is logical), I think it's really between Mahomes and Tua only. Which is ironic, given the Tyreek factor.

Must say I'm shocked that the greatest team football has ever seen who were 8 and 0 and have already won this year's Superbowl with the toughest schedule ever made somehow failed to beat the Commandos.

I can only assume all the websites have broken and recorded the wrong score.

Trump must have backed them

You get so salty @lsd

If the season ended today, the AFC and NFC east would have 7 playoff teams combined.

the only team to miss out, the commandos, are half a game back from the last wild card spot

Can 4 teams from the one group make the playoffs?

It's easily mathematically possible but quite unlikely given they all have to play eachother twice. If they all have excellent records by winning most of their other games then it could happen if the rest of the conference performs poorly. In theory you could have 4 teams with a 14-3 record in the same group.

A monster at only just over 6'1"...

I find that funny because he has a confidence that sometimes looks like arrogance, 10 days ago he talked about his ability and mindset when it comes to contested catches.

Still can't believe this but the Giants are 7-2 and have a good shot at the playoffs. But now that I've said it, I fully expect them to lose all their remaining matches

I only found out they traded Kadarius Toney when he scored for the Chiefs the weekend. Surprised at that

Take it you don't play fantasy? I picked him up off waivers within 5min of the news breaking in both leagues I'm in

It looks like he was angling for a move. He spent a lot of his spare time arguing with Giants fans on social media. It wasn't exactly clear if he was injured or if he was just being dropped/playing up this season but it now looks like the latter. He was electric Vs the Jags. If he keeps this up it will be an absolute steal because he looks like a ready made starter.

Top of my league I'll have you know. 39 points from Fields this week

The Bills Browns game is forecast to be a historic blizzard. Not just a normal snow day. This could be great...or postponed.

He is 100% correct. Weeks of Eagles fans polluting every single websites on this planet, telling everyone how they are the greatest team ever. :D

The really are the most smug, abhorrent bunch in American sports, right up there with Alabama, Ohio State, and New York Yankees fanatics and LeBron fanbois.

I just read someone state "As an Eagles and Bills fan".

What is wrong with people?

That’s absolutely rubbish but hey anyone can claim anything here . I am pretty sure no one said that they are the greatest team ever, they didn’t get rated on most ratings as even the best team this season till week 6/7 .

What is rubbish? Eagles fans have been polluting nearly every single comment section linked to the Vikings since Week 2. Whether you like it or not is your problem.

One team in the AFC, one in the NFC. A primary/home team and an adopted team; that’s the right way to do it.

Evolve your mind, man…

That's exactly why the world thinks that americans are freaks. That and pissy shitties. :wenger:
