No idea what The Cowboys were doing there with the timeout then Packers panicked and called their own timeout

Will the Raiders sack McDaniels if he loses against Saturday's Colts?

That fecker will probably still get another HC job someday when he absolutely should be persona non grata in HC interviews going forward. Watch Belicunt take him back and ultimately turnover the reigns to him in NE.

What's the reason why the Mahomes OT rule only applies in the post season?

You just kick it now right...right?

Edit: right

If someone walked into my house right now and sliced my genitals off I would still prefer them to Kellen Moore and Mike McCarthy.

Such an annoying score to give up. Against a slow starter team and with a play style that wants to lead early, last thing you want to do is give away a quick TD

Let me tell you something about the Cowboys. We can’t beat Rodgers or any hall of fame QB. We are the dumbest team in the NFL and it rubs off on every coach we bring in. So called wonder kid coaches, seasoned tacticians, you name it they turn dumb and make dumbass decisions. We were like 200-0 when up by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter until efn now. I’ve never been a big Dak fan. He doesn’t deserve to do a million commercials because he is not an elite qb. He‘s a good qb sometimes but so dammed erratic. With all our talent we’ll make the playoffs, maybe win a game and then lose from stupidity and start the whole process over again. I have watched every season since I moved here from Staubach to Dak and it’s evident that Jerry Jones needs to step aside so we can start to win when it matters. This game made me sick.

Huge win. Brilliant second half from the defence.
but for a wide open drop by Aiyuk it would have been much more comfortable too.

:( Pretty much every time Klay hit a 3 in that second half I thought ok we have this.

Wtf was that second quarter.
I wasn't quite that hopeful but when we got in front in the 4th I thought we had it.

Since this is the NFL thread I suppose I ought to mention something NFL related.

.....Aaron Rodgers is an arrogant prick.

There done!

No idea but the rule was fine as it was. They already changed it from first score wins to only a first score touchdown wins which means the team with the ball has to drive the length of the field. The other team is actually allowed to play defense however.

If the Broncos offence had been able to muster just 18 points in every game, they’d be 8-1 right now.

If ever a stat highlighted the difference between how shit the offence is vs how good the defence is, that’s it right there.

It's a great point. The Denver D is now number one in scoring in the league (and second total) and it's like no one has noticed. They have a championship level defense. Which of course means that the offense must be absolutely putrid for them to lose as much as they have.

I always liked Wilson but this has been a terrible year for his rep as both a player and a person. You also have to ask serious questions of Hackett, who is supposed to be an offensive guy and can't get his side of the ball right.

Wilson definitely hasn’t been good and he’s played a part in how bad things have been, but I think he’s a way down the list of the worst aspects.

Hackett definitely isn’t the guy. The one TD last night was scored on an audible; the guy scheming the plays didn’t manage to achieve a damned thing.

Injuries have savaged the team as well tbf.

I feel like they're struggling to build anything without a solid running game as a foundation, which Russ always had in Seattle. Losing Williams was obviously a big blow and the likes of Risner and Cushenberry have been woeful on the O-Line interior through 10 weeks.

I’m hoping that 1st from Chubb turns into a great interior OL, which can happen even late with that position given its low relative value.

I don’t think Dak has been the same since the injury. No Amari Cooper hurts as well.

They need to sign OBJ to add another receiving weapon but I think the Chiefs will up their pursuit with Schuster's injury. And that the Chiefs are certainly more favorable to win the whole thing. The other problem is Dallas cannot stop the run.

We aren't going to be getting OBJ in now Toney has come in and looked brilliant. I think we'd only consider it if we get season ending injuries to 2 receivers. Mahomes said JuJu seemed fine in the locker room afterwards so he'll probably be out for only one game.

Saints now with the joint second worst record in the league. Would be incredible if the Eagles get a top 5 pick

Always love seeing these.

There is no better WR in the world right now than Justin Jefferson.

Most years he did, but in 2017 our leading rusher (outside of Wilson) was Mike Davis with 240 yards with one single rushing TD from the entire RB core and Wilson still threw for around 4000 yards and 34 TDs as we went 9-7 - could even have made the playoffs if not for Blair fecking Walsh. Think he's just declined massively, seems interesting how many of the problems with the Seahawks offence over the last 2 years have followed him to Denver.
