Finally a sack!

First time trailing at half time this season and now 9 behind. Time to fly

What a horrible way for the streak to end. Everything that could go wrong went wrong and the refs made some amazing calls

17-0 was never in jeopardy. Won’t be for decades if the league continues towards trend to parity & uncertainty. Hilarious that a perfect season was actually entertained in here.

My Redskins (sorry, Commanders) won. Never expected that.

Woohoo!

How do you support an NFL team on the East Coast but an NBA team on the West Coast? Should you be rooting for the Wizards or 49ers?
He SHOULD be rooting for the 49ers.

My wife is a Commandos fan, we’re in between them and the Ravens geographically, so he’d do well in our house

@Ayush_reddevil supports the Warriors and Eagles. And I think the Wankees

I've been in the US for close to 40 years and the first Super Bowl I ever saw was the Redskins vs Dolphins in 1984. Didn't know a whole lot about football at the time but I thought if was going to follow a team, might as well follow a good one (little did I know), so Redskins it was.

As for the Warriors. When I was doing a post doc at UT (hence Vols fan), friend got me interested in college basketball - the Big East in particular. My favorite player was Chris Mullin and when he got drafted by the Dubs, they became my team.

I'm also a Toronto Blue Jays baseball fan because at the time their AA farm team played in Knoxville and I'd go and watch them.

That Run TMC team was a fun, fun team to watch back in the day.

They really were. Didn't last very long but it's just the sort of basketball I love watching.
Wow, just saw that they were only together for two seasons. Seemed much longer than that.

That time frame (89 to 91) was back when there were college teams like UNLV & Loyola Marymount playing the exact same way.

Think it’s going to take some days to get over this stupid loss
It was really stupid. The fumble is one of those “are you kidding me” plays.

the last penalty especially was moronic. Don’t know why commentators tried so hard to excuse Graham has he had 3 steps between the kneel and making contact to not keep going.

the missed face mask was a terrible call though.

My dad loved those guys, and his personal favourite, Manute Bol

tonight is “Run TMC takeover night” so they are doing commentary of this game with Klay Thompson

I think that was 83. You missed being a 9ers fan by a year!

Not sure if this is aimed at me, but I said this:
I know they'll probably slip up somewhere but they have a legitimate shot at an unbeaten season from here on out.

vs Packers, vs Titans could be difficult games and their week 14-16 road game stretch at Giants, at Bears, at Cowboys certainly won't be easy, but it's possible.
Saying they had a legitimate shot sitting at 8-0 and an incredibly soft schedule does not equal actually thinking they'd go 17-0. I'm not taking an L here :p

"For decades" is also pretty bold given that in the last two decades alone, there has been a 16-0 team and three 15-1 teams. It's incredibly hard but also not out of the realm of possibilities either imo.

I said it was possible because of their schedule. I think it's the kindest set of fixtures I've seen a good team have since I started watching NFL. Bit of a joke when you compare it to some of the top AFC teams and their schedule so far.

Must say I'm shocked that the greatest team football has ever seen who were 8 and 0 and have already won this year's Superbowl with the toughest schedule ever made somehow failed to beat the Commandos.

I can only assume all the websites have broken and recorded the wrong score.

Trump must have backed them

Petty comments from a Dallas fan. Just a down game against a divisional opponent which could've gone both ways - they are clearly one of the best teams in football on both sides of the ball.

The Bills had a way bigger implosion this week and are still considered by many as a bigger SB contender (which is ridiculous). The Eagles can hang with anyone in the league regardless of how tough or soft their regular season schedule is.
