A few big dominoes could be falling at One Buc Place, Gronk being the biggest now.
If I were Arians I’d be saying ‘deuces’ as well.

This also means AArod won’t go through with the threat of retirement now, which I wouldn’t have put it past him to actually do. No way he’s getting upstaged at his HoF ceremony by Tommy being in the same class.

Big Ben must be fuming right now.

Damn, actually quite gutted by that news, NFL won’t be the same without him. Would’ve wanted a true goodbye season for him but this is also a good way to ride off into the sunset. What a fecking career, we won’t see anything like it in our lifetime again. GOAT.
Whether you like the GOAT or see him as the games biggest protagonist, the NFL has sadly lost something colossal you feel.

Feels the NFL can finally breathe. Bradys luck and entire narrative has had a chokehold for so many years.

True but on the other hand, I'm looking forward to the stories not being about Brady whenever a Brady team loses a game. God forbid the other team actually playing well and earning the win.

Would be hilarious if Schefter got it wrong. I do think he’s done, but probably wants to do his own video/press release to confirm it rather than the news dropping from reporters.

don’t think that’s unique to brady. no idea why quarter backs are so revered, all they do is stand about playing rugby darts whilst everyone else runs about a bit.

Never been his biggest fan he was a cheat and refs bent over backwards for him throughout his career plus he's a matter of Trump's.

However can't argue with his standing as a great QB and can't see anyone getting as many Rings as him.

Wonder where he will go now?

I know Amazon are getting into American Football next year and talk of Aikman joining their commentary team

All the noise seems to be Denver.

I think Adams would like to go wherever Rodgers goes, but Adams is looking for $30m a year. Not sure who could afford the two of them together.

The Colts? If they find a way to ship Wentz somewhere.

Also Harbaugh to the Vikings? :nervous:

There’s no chance he retires now imo.
I think he’s still retiring but wants to do it on his own terms, own timing, own announcement, and not a breaking report by Schefter or Rapoport. And rightfully so.

Actually quite damning on Schefter that he jumped the gun like that just to make sure he’d be the one breaking it. If you send that tweet, you need to be near 100% sure.

Takes the luster off tomorrow’s games a bit.
