Can't imagine he would want to go out not winning a ring, which the Bucs could easily do next year if they stay healthy and add a receiver to offset the loss of AB.
That's what I said to everyone who was yapping about him retiring. He's still got it and is quite capable. Them haters are going through a serious rollercoaster of emotions at the moment.

The greenwood news has reduced my hype a bit but god damn i'm feeling the nerves already. This is an interesting look into Shanahan and Mcvays brain though.

Yeah - the Brady news and Greenwood news have put a bit of a downer on me today. But the Nadal win was great.

I’m sure I’ll get buzzing soon!

Enough of the underdogs.

Let's go Chiefs and Rams - with Chiefs winning the SB again!

Looking forward to watching some actual sports later after the stuff over the last 24ish hours. Hopefully 2 close & entertaining games.

NFL Sunday Countdown mentioned the Bucs have a sizeable number of players on one-year deals which expire this coming FA period, and will have significant cap dilemmas to manage going forward. Perhaps Brady sees a potential loss of a handful of top players this March/April and figures just go out now, not worry, etc.

Assuming he’s not just being a pantomime bitch and hasn’t already made his decision, what’s his contract situation? Would he not be a FA himself? Could he feasibly move again?

No more Chiefs. Bengals Rams is the super bowl I want - and also the super bowl which I think will be the best.
Interesting. I think Chiefs - Rams will be the better matchup.

Also, don't think I'll mind any of the 4 winning the SB really. Just don't "hate" any of them - must be a first

A Bengals/Rams SB would be the most preferred outcome.

With the Bengals winning it all.

Maybe it's all about the money after all. Saw some reports that a huge chunk of his signing bonus will be paid after the SB. So, maybe he's just waiting for that.

We’re 16/32 in terms of cap room, so it’s not Saints / GB level, but we do have a shitpot of FAs on expiring short deals & there’s basically no way we can resign all of them even if we mortgage the future. OL & Godwin should be priorities to resign, Suh & Lenny would be nice, Dean franchised, & look for DL / LB in the draft along with CBs.

Brady? Contract ends after next season.

Brady staying or retiring must also be a big factor for those who are considering about re-signing.

it’s a shame that the NFL is so much more “lax” in allowing players back who’ve been bellends. I hope Greenwood, if all is as it seems, doesn’t play again. And I strongly think in the PL his career would be over. But the Likes of Mixon (less so) and Hill (more so), for all their talents it’s such a shame that the NFL club sees winning as more important than the moral decay of having someone like that representing your brand.

Absolutely. Like I said yesterday when it was thought he was leaving, there are a lot of big dominoes waiting to fall inside Bucs camp.

There have been instances of pretty responses from the NFL, but they have seemed arbitrary & not consistent. I agree, I’d like to see a firmer line in the sand drawn.

Raiders had a good season despite the constant off-field issues. Will be interesting to see how McDaniels does.
