Seems like he's going to be off regardless with several teams showing interest. Perhaps he could convince Brady to live in NOLA for a year.
Yeah, I’m resigned to his departure, but it would be a hard pill to swallow to see him head off to a division rival.

I don’t like Nawlins for Leftwich. Don’t throw a first time HC into a team on the precipice of a rebuild after losing a legendary coach; go to one already into a rebuild like Jax…despite how dysfunctional they historically are. Get him vested in resurrecting T Law before he goes the way of David Carr.

If you ever need anything to get you into the mood for Championship Sunday, this is it:

Doesn’t he have a season with Winston? Can’t remember if Leftwich was the OC during the 30/30 season or not.

Meh if Chiefs and Rams win the only thing I'll be watching in the Superbowl is the half time show.

I literally could find this exact same post from you, in every years NFL thread

I was actually invested in Brady last year for some reason. I must have been coming down with a deadly fever

I have been stuck in a rabbit hole of Mike McDaniel interviews and press conferences. He is my new pick as Vikings head coach.

So… how’s everyone thinking tomorrow will play out?

I think the Bengals will make a game of it but I’m struggling to see how they come out of Arrowhead with a win. I will definitely be rooting for them to do so, though!

As for the Rams game, given how recent meetings have gone it’s tough to call. I’m gonna pick Rams (and hope they win too, I think it’d make for a better super bowl if they do).

Bengals vs Rams is the dream Superb Owl for sure.

Niners have a good record against the Rams though and KC is KC, so it’s gonna be tough for them both.

Anything can happen in playoff games though!

I’m hoping Bengals win but they give up so many sacks & Mahomes is not going to make the mistakes Tannehill made, so I expect KC to win.

Rams-Niners is interesting. I think the Rams win but the closer the game gets, I’m leaning towards Niners more. If Jimmy G can play a clean game without his usual mistakes then they’ve got a real shot. However, Stafford should be bouncing into this game the way he’s been playing & if the Rams didn’t make stupid mistakes, the Tampa game was a comfortable performance.

I am hoping Rams win as I like their players more & a KC-LA SB would be an entertaining watch.

On the KC bengals game, I would say that I don’t see KC getting anywhere near the same pressure as the Titans did on Burrow. They’ll still hassle him and get their sacks, but Burrow has been dealing with it all year, and well. Add to that, the Bengals have shown they can crush this Chiefs D which seemingly is getting worse and worse. Yes that was at home but still means something. But yeah, after last week Mahomes will feel he can do just about anything so that, with their quality on offence, and the Arrowhead crowd, is gonna make them favourites for sure.

It’d be so great if we had two teams who haven’t been there that recently get in the bowl. Yes Rams have a few years ago but not with some of these guys. I’ve always had a bit of a liking of Stafford and it’s be nice to see him get his shot. Not to mention Beckham who has unfairly had mud thrown at him for years. And Donald, who deserves this as well I guess.

Hard to beat a well-coached team twice in a season, much less 3 times with your best player not practicing and listed as questionable. Kyle would need a genius game play with Trey Lance packages to throw the Rams off balance. I don’t see it happening.

The Bengals are a year too early into their rebuild to take down KC in the playoffs.

Unfortunately it’ll be all chalk.

Doing the draft and then stepping down seems like really weird timing.

Couldn't really step down before. Alot of the leg work has already gone into it for this year's draft. Need to see it through

Bengals v Niners would be a good Super Bowl, a rematch of both 80s games, both of which were close.
40 years since the first 49ers super bowl. Against the Bengals. Beat the cowboys in the playoffs both times. And coming off a 6-10 season the year before. IT’S HAPPENING

Guess it was expected after the recent comments. What a career!

altodevil in heaven!

In all seriousness, what a career! Wonder if he will have a role in football going forward. Somehow I doubt it.

Not enough supporting cast around him to be carried anymore. Right move to retire.

I am shocked tbh - clearly still playing at a high level (MVP shout + arm looks as good as ever.)

Also would have expected him to do a Big Ben year but even more played out.
