Probably the right fit I know he wasn't interested in being a back up and would want an assurance he would be the starter

If Winston is out until next season, Newton will have half a season plus a potential post season to make his case. It's a bit tough to have to get up to speed mid-season though.

What a blow! Hindsight is 20/20, and I didn't catch their game this weekend, but there have been some talks of the Titans overusing him right? Could also just be bad luck, of course, but could reflect badly on the coaching.

Wow. Donald and Miller on the same team is almost unfair.

I think given where the Broncos are it probably does make sense. But the compensation is still so low. Production with Donald will surely increase too.

How long was left on his contract?

Also isn’t this just classic Rams. They always seem to be doing this. It’d be interesting to see how these have worked out in hindsight though.

Yeah feels like they've done this every year since McVay got involved

Off the top of my head there was Peters, Watkins, Talib, Cooks, Fowler, Ramsey and obviously Stafford. These are just the players who were legit guys at the times of their trades. Oh and Michel you could count.

It does feel like that that be honest.

Also something I feel like we’ve been saying for the last 4 years

True but I think having Stafford at QB has made a difference to the team - both in being able to trust the offense not to feck up & him being a leader. That said, they’ll probably end up losing in the first round.

They know they have a window of 2, 3 years at the most. So it makes sense.

I think Stafford was the best addition to any of the top teams this season and if they win the Superbowl which I would put them as favourites to do so it will be because they signed Stafford

That sucks. That really wasn’t a nice “tackle”, if you could call it that, either.
It was a legal tackle, the refs blew that call. It was all jersey behind the shoulder that was grabbed, no padding. It's just unfortunate Jameis was injured on the play.

Heartening that players feel comfortable enough to discuss their mental health issues...

What's going on with Deshaun Watson? Would Goodell try to suspend him if he was to be traded to a different team?

I wasn’t really commenting on whether it was legal or not. Just that it isn’t a nice type of tackle to be subject to.
