I'd be very excited to see what Meyer could do in the NFL. Especially with a QB like Trevor.

Would I be right in assuming he would be more of CEO style coach rather than someone who will be actually calling the plays etc?

Probably a bit of both. From what I saw in college, he seemed pretty hands on. Certainly more so than Saban, who flopped in the NFL.

Older Dolphins fans still hate Saban with such a passion. Especially the local media guys who he lied to. Some of the stories from within the building that year are crazy, Though Jason Taylor speaks very highly of him.

It was before I really started following the team though, so I can't muster much hatred for him.

Saban is still a polarizing figure in Miami, since he routinely flies in on his helicopter, creating a spectacle by landing on HS football fields to seduce local HS kids to play at Alabama.

He has a sharp offensive mind, so he won’t be coming in as just a man-manager (like I think Dabo would). But I‘d imagine he’d bring in some hotshot from college to call the plays.

Hard to blame them. I've never really been able to find a specific college team to support, but you have to admire what Bama have built.

I had quite liked FSU for a while, but Winston put an end to that.

Is Fitzgerald likely to get a job? I know they just had a very good season and beat Auburn, but Don't know an awful lot about him to be honest

I'm hearing Dan Mullen is being considered for an NFL job - Atlanta, followed by Jacksonville (if Urban doesn't get it).

He probably could have already been in the NFL if he wanted, so if he’s now open to it he’ll be a hot name along with I think Iowa State’s Campbell.

Miami has a young rotational pass rusher called Van Ginkel. He has made lots of key plays this year. Today he has a sack and tackle for loss in the first series.

Flores and Boyer have done an outstanding job improving the D this year. Really appreciate the Giants for hiring last year's underwhelming DC , promoting Boyer has been a huge upgrade. Boyer might be assistant coach of the year.

Edit. Great Challenge from Flores. Ball was ruled out of bounds but we got the interception after review.

2nd and 5, Bad snap. 3rd and 5, two pass rushers untouched thorough the middle of the OL. That's not winning football from the Dolphins OL

On the bright side, we scored the field goal and Matt Barkley seems to be warning up

OL bounced back from killing the first drive with a false start on the first play of the second drive. God that's frustrating in a game we must win to make the playoffs

Thankfully the D is doing a great job putting pressure on Josh Allen every play. Though they managed to punt the ball inside the one :(

Evans gets the record, then drops a sure TD & goes out with an injured knee. I think on back to back plays.

Brady may have hurt a finger on his throwing hand as well on the same play.

Evans’ injury didn’t look great. I think that might end his season, or at the very least seriously limit him in the playoffs.

2 runs from the one inch line and we didn't get a yard. Najee Harris is going to look great in aqua

Chan Gaileys playcalling has annoyed me for weeks. So far today we have had a QB sneak on first and 10 and a stupid bubble screen on 3rd and long.

Reminds me of that Gase-Cutler season. Grim.

TD Bills. They tore us apart that drive. Look forward to see what 2 yard passes Gailey calls in response

Bills score 2 TDs in a row, fins hit back with a 3 yards pass then a screen 2 yards behind the LOS. This makes me sad.

Bills score on a punt return. Fins will hit back with another screen

Hate the dolphins playcalling. But fair play that was a lovely trick play for 30 yards

2nd and goal. Stupid screen. 3rd and idk 14. Thanks Chan.

Another long bills TD drive, in about 30 seconds. Dolphins D started hot, but have been destroyed the entire second quarter. This games over

Still can't believe a team with 7 or less wins will win a division...

Are the Dolphins recievers dropping these passes because they are as desperate to see Gailey fired at half time as I am?

Give them pay rises if so.

The entire Cowboys coaching staff should be fired on the basis of this first half alone. They look undisciplined, unprepared, and uncoached. But Jerry won't do it of course.

Btw, heard on GameDay Live that Miami went from 32nd in total defense to 1st. That's probably the only time it's occurred.

Wow Dolphins come out at half time playing the aggressive, fast paced style of football Tua used in college and immediately drive the length of the field and score.

I for one am shocked that this worked better than Gailey's preferred 2 yard pass system

Who could have seen that coming :wenger:

Parker falls over at the top of his route. Tuas pass goes straight to Norman, Bills pick 6. Ouch

Not sure if it was a bad pass and the WR was lying on the floor, or just unlucky Parker fell over.

I’d be worried about having Tua as my QB for the future if I’m a dolphins fan.

He and Gesicki are the only 2 players on the O that don't worry me for the future. As the 20+ yard drop (despite having two hands on the ball) on 3rd and 9 just showed.

Ravens with 350 rushing yards after 3 quarters  They do that to the Bengals on an annual basis.
