Best decision they've made in a long time. Rodgers is cut from the same cloth as MJ, powered by sheer pettiness and the burning desire to prove people wrong

Maybe. But at some point in the playoff run another WR or RB might help more than a backup QB

imagine how much better rodgers would be if the packers still had mccarthy
He'd be amazing and they'd lose in the playoffs when McCarthy opts to kick 15 field goals from the 1 yard instead of trusting his star QB to get a game-sealing TD

Mahomes won’t play Week 27. Brutally denied the chance at a second 5,000 yard season by Reid :(

Bit of an odd thing to see as "brutal" - especially given that you can guarantee he's on board with it. Pointless game chasing a pointless stat he's already done and will likely get to do again when they will be in need of him playing week 17.

Brett Favre started all this pointless stat chasing shit - Peyton used to play like 5 minutes in week 17's in the vein hope of catching that Iron Man streak.... and well Brett played injured a fair chunk just to increase it, brutally so in his final season.

I was half joking, of course Mahomes probably won't care and is only interested in another SB.

I am guessing it was a joke.

Regardless, you can’t guarantee he was fully on board with it as these guys always want to play. And he won’t be needed at all in week 17 in any case.

I predicted Chiefs over Bucs for SB, which is still possible. Didn't have GB making the playoffs :nervous:

Green Bay Packers claim Damon 'Snacks' Harrison off waivers

@Sylar @Jack-C20 Probably would be able to play in playoff's. Esp if we get a bye, decent to have him fit and ready. Would improve run-D a lot!
Any defence assistance is welcome. It's always been the downfall post season

If packers confirm #1 seed I'm confident they can make the superbowl
Then I reckon it's Kansas and falls to a shootout. I think that's where the failure to add a WR may cost them

There's a chance we'll face Bucs again in playoffs.... which I'm not looking forward to.

The buccaneers will carry Brady to another suitable.

Fancy Rodgers at Lambeau to score high. Only issue id have is if we take a big lead, then stop playing, allow a team back in then have no way to get momentum going again

Rodgers fecked over once more. Like clockwork. Watch Brady get sucked off for being average on a loaded team.

It’s the Chiefs to lose anyway and the Packers would suck in at least one conference playoff game.

So what’s the plan for the playoffs if there’s a Covid outbreak that takes out a number of players on a team?! Just play on or postpone the game to mid-week & have fewer days for the winning team before the next round?

Mailing it in, no doubt. They want neither Dallas or the Giants winning the division. Yet, with how the lEast has fared this season I see Washington choking somehow, someway barring Alex Smith being fully/near fully fit and putting up a top class performance.

Suppose its win win for us anyway. Playoffs would be great but no realistic chance of going deep anyway, so the top 15 (or so) draft pick would be nice.

Was brought up on an ESPN segment yesterday that Dallas should consider letting Dak go, saving that $40M/year in cap space, sign someone like a Winston (or Fitz or whomever) to compete with Dalton in 2021, and spread those precious cap dollars around. The analyst was citing Dalton's performance so far may not be as good as Dak statistics wise but he is 4-4 and playing well down the stretch (three consecutive wins) despite a depleted OL. He also cited the crippling contracts of numerous other average to good QBs as an example of how the QB market is crushing caps. His sentiment is that Dallas isn't near a SB level with or without Dak, so why give out another crippling contract. He didn't mention J. Smith and Zeke but those two stand out for me, with Cooper in the mix as well; Lawrence is impacted by a Nolan scheme change according to a Dallas beat writer.

Parker is active! Playing with a WR who wouldn't be on most teams practice squad is going to be an exciting new strategy.

Our no2 WR Williams has been out for months. He has supposedly been week to week for the past 2 or 3 games and he posted a workout video on social media yesterday, but still no sign of him.

The third WR Grant is still out, which is a shame because we have so little at WR, but my cat has better hands than him. He has had key drops in 3 games in a row
