Expensive strip club visit. And sucking at your job after that definitely doesn’t help.

Didn’t he also try and sneak a mate into the team hotel in NY a few months back?

Dude seems like a right dick.

Maybe he just doesn't enjoy the game or want to play to his potential.

Seems like he got what he wanted with the contract and that was that for him

A coming out too soon tale that needs to be looked at strongly when dealing with draftable one hit wonders in college.

I’ve wondered recently how this year’s draft class (& potentially next year’s) will suffer from immaturity like Haskins due to potentially many college players might be coming out too early with not nearly enough reviewable film existing for them. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some extreme high round misses over the next two drafts due to the kids just not being ready physically &, more importantly, mentally. Understandable to a degree that they want to come out, but it will be needy franchises that might suffer from complete wastes of upper round draft picks.

Seems like the maturity level was far less than the physical level of Haskins.

That’s interesting since they’re still thin at QB and in playoff contention. This doesn’t save them much money.

Rivera must’ve just been sick of his shit.

Unbelievable, really, when it’s only one week left in the season & a playoff trip is still possible.

You’re right, there were probably no chances left for the kid. There’s probably stuff we don’t know about either that precipitated his departure.

Why not just employ common sense from the beginning? Apologies like this ring so hollow...

Can you blame him? Rivera has cancer, and is coaching whilst imuno compromised due to chemo. His QB repays this by partying at a strip club during a pandemic.
Makes me think he might have been cut last week if Alex Smith was healthy and they could get the paperwork pushed through HR. It might be the quickest a 1st round QB has ever been cut, though there are some qualifiers there (Rosen was traded, Johnny Football made it through his 2nd season, etc.).

I hadn’t even thought about it like that, Rivera must be fuming.

Yeah I didn't think about Rivera having cancer either and that changes things for me.

I was feeling bad for Haskins that he needed a bit more help especially mentally but if that was someone belonging to me in cancer remission and Haskins was going out partying like he did them I would have fired him immediately

Another big loss for the Pats & another poor performance from Cam. It’s going to be a massive offseason for us if we’re going to be competing anytime soon.

Bears fan here.

Have we a chance against the Packers. They look pretty hard to beat

Miami has multiple routes to the playoffs even if the Bills beat us, but it sure would be nice if they rested some starters. Will be interested to see how they approach the game

Rodgers probably just sealed the MVP and is still pissed as hell about last years draft pick. You have a chance....but good luck

Packers fan here and I’d say so. No matter how well we’re playing you just can’t shake the feeling that we can switch to crap in an instance. Also it’s like a derby in football, form can mean nothing in heated games like this. Plus if Mack gets going it could get tough for Rodgers. Should be a good game either way. I am happy Dillon has given us another option with running though if the pass isn’t working.

I remember Packers fans being suicidal after the draft and here they are looking like they will go the Superbowl and probably win it in my opinion.

Because they're good enough as it is but they failed to strenghten themselves in the first two rounds of the draft, which is still madness. Someone like Tee Higgins was still available if I'm not mistaken.

Packers Chiefs looks increasingly likely - although I wouldn't count out the Saints and Bills, or even the (dare I say) the Bucs.

Well they were pretty close last year, just the 49ers D Line obliterated them twice. Injuries took us out of their way this time around

As long as they avoid the Bucs...Saints are trouble for them as well. I’m praying for a Packers/Seahawks NFC title game personally.

Don't see anyone beating the Chiefs in the AFC. Feels like they can turn it on when necessary to do just enough. NFC will be much more interesting. Can see Packers, Saints or even to a lesser extent the Seahawks or Bucs winning.

As far as the Super Bowl, Chiefs will be clear favorites to repeat, but I'm not convinced by their defense and living dangerously will catch up one of these days.

Chiefs vs Ravens and Saints vs Seahawks is what I’m hoping for.

Steelers resting Big Ben. Right choice probably but I’d be tempted to stick it to the Browns and keep them out of the playoffs.

Best decision they've made in a long time. Rodgers is cut from the same cloth as MJ, powered by sheer pettiness and the burning desire to prove people wrong

Maybe if his contract wasn’t so ridiculous... that said I do think someone will trade for him in the off-season, assuming he’s done in Philly.

He can have Cousins, he would fit perfectly with McDaniels.
