The double sided absurdity of the old guy burning his steelers jacket is the Steelers themselves stayed in to avoid being perceived as getting involved in the whole thing. They literally stayed inside as a way to avoid publicly dissing the flag.

Doesn't appear anyone is sitting/kneeling at the moment. Jordin Sparks doing a good rendition so far.

Tidbit: Jordin is the daughter of former NFL player, Phillippi. I didn't know that until yesterday.

Cowboys secondary has the makings of being worse than their 2013 edition and the Saints secondary of the past five years.
Palmer is a big pocket QB that is getting protection. So he's picking them apart. And as I say this-he gets sacked. Cardinals may really rue the fact they haven't scored more.

If Elliot gets going the Boys can start to take this over. Hasn't happened yet since the first game.

Cardinals shooting themselves in the foot here. What a start they had in the 1st quarter. Might come back to bite them.

Wonder if all those quick to rush out and buy his jersey will want refunds?

"When everybody sees the image of me by myself, everybody thinks the team, the Steelers, are not behind me, and that's absolutely wrong. I made Coach [Mike] Tomlin look bad, and that is my fault and my fault only. I made my teammates look bad, and that is my fault and my fault only."

Stopped them when it mattered. Think Jones may have gotten away with a penalty there on 4th down. Surprised Arizona didn't take the points but probably moot anyhow.

What a turnaround in the 1st quarter. Arizona should have scored and lead 14-0 and it changes the whole direction of the game, instead they get called for a penalty AND missed a FG.

Can't believe that many people are actually pissed off whether or not football players stand for the national anthem. Absolutely ridiculous.

Even if it was before the anthem, I’m surprised the Cowboys locked arms & knelt. Good show of unity.

It seems like all the teams contending have had blips. Except Chiefs and Falcons.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong but last year I remember a bunch of teams opening the season undefeated for 4-6 games

Even the Falcons have been lucky in 2 games.

Chiefs looking great though.

Steelers and Seahawks are surprise strugglers so far.

Only the Chiefs have really impressed me so far, Falcons have been fortunate to be undefeated. Kansas seems to have the best balance between offense & defense.

As I’ve said before, my only criticism/concern is if Alex Smith can lead them to a win if he needs to have a game winning drive. On current form, he probably doesn’t need to but I’d like to see him have to win a game himself.
