Yeh. I only wanted to check the difference and was surprised by the result so posted.

I should really have booked Monday off work to watch both games. Maybe just suck it up and see how long I last of second game

Yeah I’m happy the Pats game is up first coz I usually struggle on the second. Will try in any case.

Not Rodgers. Not yet anyway. Talent? Sure.

But can you really say he’s shown the same mental attributes as Brady? I don’t think so. Not yet anyway.
I don't think he needs to. He's shown incredible mental ability throughout his career, and made some astounding clutch plays. I'm not qualified to tell you if he has a better mental edge than Brady, that's not something I can quantify. But it's not as big of a difference as their respective abilities.

30:45 (9th) vs 31:19 (6) vs 32:29 (2) vs 32:39. (1)

Pats v Jags v Vikings v Eagles

Interesting to add that in terms of 3 and outs: Vikings(3rd), Eagles(4th), Jaguars(5th) and Patriots(27th).

That's such a perfect combination of stats to describe a Belichick defense.

You’re right. You can’t quantify it. You thus also can’t then say that it’s less than their difference in talent? How could we know?

This is why Brady is often overlooked. You can’t easily quantify the things that make him great. The human physche is wired to dislike anything it can’t grasp in full. It is therefore our natural human instincts to put less importance on what we can’t ourselves quantify or analyse.

In the end it comes down to subjective opinion. I personally feel it’s too early to say Rodgers is a better QB than Brady.

I think that's a fair judgement. When I was referencing it was hard to quantify, I meant more between two top tier quarterbacks. It's easy to see who doesn't make quick accurate reads, or who doesn't make adjustments for blitzes etc. But they both do, and that what makes the difference hard to see, and why I think it's probably small.

The only reason Rodgers is not mentioned in the GOAT debate that often, is that he didn’t get the ball in freaking overtime and his D constantly screwed up. Otherwise he would be right up there.

What over time ?

Yeah he's had some of the worst luck I've seen for a while now.

Yep. He constantly gets his team in a position to win it all and then we find a way to screw things up. It would be funny, if it wasn't so annoying. Especially that game against the Seahawks haunts me to this day.

The Seattle loss was tough. Rodgers has had a great career and I'm sure he will get another shot at winning the big game, maybe next year.

You are killing me here, killing me.:(

While we're at it, the finale drive from Rodgers against the Cards is the best thing I've ever seen a QB do. I don't think I'll ever see anything like that drive again.

It's who he was throwing to that makes it so special.

Friend’s on his way to Gillette to watch the game this Sunday. Told him to get me this custom jersey made:

...NFLShop doesn’t allow periods in names but PatsProShop does (GOAT vs G.O.A.T.)

Also going to buy every SB patch TB12’s been a part of from eBay or amazon and stitch it on the jersey. Assuming Pats win this Sunday, that’ll be 8 patches to throw on the jersey somewhere. Going to purposely leave out the captains patch otherwise jersey will be way too crowded and hard on the eyes

The good: Championship Sunday. Let’s go!
The bad: Only three matchups left of the season :(

Whilst not the best season in recent times, I bloody hate the mahoosive off season.

You should get a Tattoo. On forehead.

Cut on throwing hand, required stitches, he will play probably wearing a glove on his throwing hand (something he does not like to do), going to be interesting to see if it has any affect.

Apparently practiced Friday without a glove for 50% of this throws. No doubt he is going to be affected. Question is how much.

We can only hope the Jags make it competitive. I don't buy this hand thing for a second, just media going crazy over something small. Playing into BB's hands.

Psssh. Emmitt Smith played the entire '93 postseason (games in Jan 94) with a separated shoulder.

I'm fairly confident if there's one guy that can overcome stitches in a throwing hand it will be Sir Tom.

Looking forward to both the underdogs wining setting up a Jags Eagles Superbowl!

Anyone know what time the KOs are scheduled for both games??
