He looked to be back last week in the defeat of the Patriots
Made a real difference to them - wouldn't rule them out for a deep run in the play-offs, outside Superbowl

They're my favourites to win the NFC at the moment. Healthy Wilson & Graham showing form again. The NFC is weak this year, only Dallas is a real threat to Seattle IMO

Pats with only a 3pt lead at HT. Was hoping we'd be comfortably ahead at the half. No excuses, we have to win this against a shite opponent.

Turnover. Another Turnover....

Credit to whoever is watching the LA game live. Between the 3 late games, can't believe Sky chose to focus on this shit.

What is the actual point of the two minute warning? More ads?

Yeh. Not easy watching. Poor game choice. Did they choose it before or after Goff was announced as starter

Pats really struggling to get anything going on offense.

Niners are containing the Patriots offense quite well, yeah. Can't see them winning this one though, they seem to be in a lot of games until late in the fourth quarter but somehow always manage to lose.

Goff doesn't look very convincing so far, I'm watching Redzone but most of the times he comes on he under- or overthrows the ball.

The weather has played a big part in the poor offensive play in San Jose tonight. The current drive by the Pats, though. Great play, gaining first downs on every throw.

Tough drive that. A couple of lovely throws under pressure from Brady. Needed that score to get some momentum going on offense.

1/18 3rd down conversions by both teams in LA :boring:

#Rams' record after 10 games through Jeff Fisher's tenure as HC
2012: 3-6-1
2013: 4-6
2014: 4-6
2015: 4-6
2016: 4-6

Lol

How is that a catch by Nelson? Those rules (or lack thereof) continue to confuse me.

So, who's your front runners for MVP this season?

Dak Prescott (!), Ezekiel Elliot (!), and Tom Brady (!) are the front runners in my opinion. And that's just... Weird? Two rookies and one player who's only played 6 games.
The outsiders are probably Wilson and Carr, and deservedly so. Carr is proving to be a very solid QB, and Wilson is as steady as ever.

Zeke or Brady IMO. Brady's had fewer games so that could be a factor.

Dak's done brilliant but that OL & the running game have really helped him.

By the same logic you could 'mark down' Brady because he's got Gronk to work with. Plus Edelman et al.

Gronk is barely around, though. 7 games, with limited snaps in most of them.
The Pats O-line is shaky, and the defense as well. If you watched Brady last night, he was phenomenal in the second half, adjusting constantly. Great pocket awareness, and nimble feet. If anyone can share the credits with Brady, it's Blount imo (and obviously Edelman).

Then again, I agree that Dak and Zeke are great candidates. Can't say which of the three I would pick as MVP as of today.

Atm - Brady shouldn't be a candidate. He missed 40% of the season to date. Come the end of the season, he should be considered and will be right up there in terms of contenders.

Elliott IMO. Insane numbers. Wish he went to another team already smh

Dak has been great but the OL has been fantastic for the Cowboys. Baltimore would have murdered Dak yesterday if not for them.

Dak hasn't looked dominant outside of a few quarters. Nowhere close to Brady, Ryan, and the way Wilson is playing now. Zeke is clearly their most valuable single player, since you can't count the whole OL for MVP.

But the way these things go, they'll give him rookie + offensive PotY, and give MVP to a QB.

Alan Branch suspended 4 games for breaching drug policy. Apparently tested postive for marijuana.

He's an idiot for doing so, but I thought it was legal in some states? And does it give you any competitive advantage?! Stupid NFL.

It doesn't but it is on their Substances of Abuse Policy and players know that all too well. I think the fact that it's legal in some States doesn't change anything, if it's forbidden by your 'employer' you can get suspended anyway.

There are actually two different policies: the NFL Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances which handles everything performance enhancing, and the 'fun stuff' is handled under the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. You can even get suspended for alcohol issues if you've abused it in the past without it being illegal of course.
