Every year the Seattle fans are up in arms at the cuts.

When is the deadline for a player to move? I'm hoping we keep one guy on the practice squad.

That one surprised the heck out of me
There had been some noise about it in preseason but I'm still pretty gutted, I really like him. He also lead in rush yards last year ffs, although granted Anderson was injured for a chunk of games.

Apparently Bibbs has really impressed which put Hillman in the crosshairs due to his salary and us being so close to the cap.

We're at 97.5% of our cap for 2016 and Sanders is expected to sign a new deal this week I think.

Really disappointing seeing Mark Sanchez's gradual demise. He was very highly rated coming out of HS.

I'm surprised no one is going for McCarron. He seemed a very decent QB and way better than the likes of Sanchez.

After the draft he is too expensive, he was only gettable before it.

It was that or Shaun Hill. I heard that other teams asked for 1st Rds and the likes of Diggs...
Im not convinced Bradford is a 1st and 4th round pick better than Hill TBH. Mustve been some other backups that couldve been nabbed.

Hill is bad, he was supposed to be the third QB or cut but Heinecke broke is foot kicking a door. I have seen Vikings fans meltdown in the last 24 hours, claiming that someone else could have been nabbed but they can't propose anyone, the last name mentioned is Aaron "zero games" Murray.

And remember there isn't a lot of decent QBs in the league, the Eagles are one of the rare teams with 3 decent options and they are rebuilding, the other team is probably the Jets and Smith is worse.

Spielman made a mistake, a lot of fans wanted a QB during the draft but he gambled and he failed.

He was never the same after The Butt Fumble. I wouldn't have been either, to be honest.
How do you manage to suck behind Denver's O-line? They are one of the best. Not to mention one of the best offensive units in general - good WRs and RBs. Their main weak point is the TE position.

They had some problems last year, but adding Okung should prove to be a good bit of business.

My fellow alum Bradford could probably win the AFC with that defense and offensive play style.

Yeah. Both Sitton and Barrington.

Barrington wasn't that surprising for me. Even though I liked him he's had some injury issues and had surgery so might have lost a step.

Sitton on the other hand, blew my mind. I mean, I think he was the odd one out come O-Line contracts at the end of the season (Bak, Lang and possibly Tretter) but to cut him now, a week before the season baffles me if I'm honest. I'm not even sure who's going to step in in his place. Lane Taylor hasn't impressed me but seems the obvious choice with the money they payed him recently.

And to make it worse Sitton signed with the bloody Bears!

I'd be very interested to know the details behind this one when they come out. It's too bizarre for something not to have caused this action.

There was a problem with protecting the QB quite often last year, our o-line definitely wasn't the best. Hopefully that will improve with Okung and a few shuffles.

Yup, losing a step is what I hear too. What options are there? I think they'll play Spriggs right and move Bulaga left...till Linsley comes back and Tretter can take the left.

Either way it's just weird. Saves cap space and is in line with the intention of making the line younger, but it's just weird.

Can't fault him for signing with the bears. It's a good upgrade for them.

Did you met Peterson?

I'm guessing long term Tretter will play guard when Corey Lindsay comes back, but that won't be till week 6 I think? For now I expect Lane Taylor to play, might have come too early for Spriggs.

That is all fine, but they've massively over-paid. Great job by the Eagles though.

Obviously they overpaid, we are one week before the season. If Spielman words are to be believed the other teams asked for a 1st round and a pro bowler.

Would you have pulled the trigger then?

In my opinion Peterson is key in that decision, if he was younger I would have "tanked" the season but it's probably his last season at the top. So gambling on the trio Bradford, defense and Peterson makes sense, so yes I would have pulled the trigger.
Also the first round isn't a big deal, the Vikings have nine picks in 2017 and don't need 9 players. The defense is stacked, we needed a safety and we found one in the 6th round, the team could do with a O lineman but free agency can fix that and the team need to think about replacing AD and next year draft is full of RBs.

Also dont know why we released Ronnie Hillman. I know we are the rookie Booker but still if CJ in injured, Hillman is a nice option to have.

Money, he wouldn't take a drop so he had to go, we're at 97.5% of the cap.
