I think the kick was going wide anyway? Certainly seemed like that on the replay.

Yeah maybe, but for the Ravens to then pick it up and go in for a score is a real kick in the teeth. You think you're going to win or at worst go into overtime and a few seconds later the game is over and you've lost.

Is a 2 RB formation a thing? They could do what they do on a a free kick where both run up to take it from opposite sides but one fakes it.

Is that a terrible idea? I'm wide awake and apparently just planning my route to becoming an offensive coordinator. With Rawls playing really well, I wondered if it's possible to utilise him and Lynch on the same play..
OU is doing this to great effect currently, but it requires a certain unselfishness for either of them to block for the other. And be able to motion out wide as a receiver (which is primarily Mixon).

I grew up going to Skins games when this was the elite division in football - it has sadly become a joke in recent years (Giants being the exception with a couple of Super Bowls)

Truth be told - there are just a lot of really poor teams atm.

So many key players injured for a lot of the playoff-likely teams.

Yeah, its annoying, especially when some teams are badly affected by it (and for some teams, missing players whole season). GB been battered, Patriots been battered, Broncos been battered. Dallas got battered (think they would have walked their division if they didnt get the Romo and Dez early season injuries)

The thing is it isn't just the quantity, it's the quality of the players too. These are some of the best players in each of these teams that are gone.

Also, anyone renew their season tickets for the UK series today?

I want to change seats so waiting until the 10th.... but wondering if this is a bad move or not!

Broncos had 18 players on their injury report this week ffs, two have just been given time due to becoming fathers but that's still 16 injured players including Manning, DeMarcus Ware, TJ Ward, Sylvester Williams etc.

Dunno, it looks that way on the face of it but if he was actually 100% fit again who knows.

When was the last time he was 100% fit? He said it himself before the start of the season - he didn't even have feeling in the extremities of his fingers. He barely had any zip in his throws and was throwing up a lot of lame duck throws.

None of that takes away from his pedigree and experience, but he was becoming a liability for that offense. Now, that's not to say Brock is the new messiah - after all, if a free agent for the Pats doesn't muff a punt and start the comeback...Pats probably go on to win and no one is raving about Brock.

But, I think the starting job should belong to Brock now until he does something to lose it. As good as that Denver D is, if Brock can continue to be efficient and error free (no need to be a game winner) - they stand a real chance of making some real noise in the playoffs.

Don't really disagree with any of that to be honest.

Manning looked great a few games before that Chiefs game where he was swapped out and I held some hope that something was about to click in the team but then boom, he was ruined.

Re Brock, the way he came into that Chiefs game was just as encouraging as the Pats performance and there's a lot of talk coming out of Denver about him being a natural leader and I love the way his teammates all ran to him after that TD to take the lead and then the subsequent winner against NE; he seems to have slotted right in.

There's also a lot of talk that we won't see Manning in the team again, which on one hand would be a shame but on the flip side it'd be very harsh to take Brock out at this point.

His statistics this season are shocking though. As has been his general all around performance. Factor in the fact that Osweiller allows Kubiak to run his preferred offence, I think it's a good thing that he isn't out there.

Manning has had a great and illustrious career, but this year even when he wasn't injured he hasn't been performing. Sure he had a game or two here or there, but on the majority of occasions, he has struggled. 17 picks, 67.6 rating. Under 60 in completion as far as I remember too. I think he's done in the NFL, if not then certainly in Denver. It's a hard and tough is the NFL, and brutal at times. He's been one of the best ever, but I think he's done. The injuries and age have finally caught up with him.

I renewed today - its not great Twickenham has been added tbh. Because I had some really good seats in the bottom section costing £55, The equivalent in Twickenham was £119 so I basically had to go for the highest location seats to get the cheapest. Its so annoying.

Last season I didnt renew straight away but waited for phase 2 and managed to get better seats. I suspect you can do the same.

Brill, cheers mate.

Coldplay to perform the HT snoozefest at SB 50.

Ziggy Ansah has been an absolute monster this year.

Detroit on fire, 17-0 at the end of the quarter.

What has happened to GB?!

Wtf. Pass interference is just nonsensical.

Also, someone comment on the game before I just go to sleep please.

@Eboue

Are you a Detroit fan Joemo? You must be loving this.

I am yeah, Eboue taught me the basics and I've only been following them since the start of last season. I saw them in London against the Chiefs which was pretty cool if you can look past the fact I paid hundreds of pounds to watch my team play shite only to turn their form around almost immediately.

:) Haha.

At least you have actually turned it round now, it's a really interesting division.

Having said that, I don't know if you're good or GB are terrible at the moment.
