Got 11 out of the 14 predictions right , messed up on the Seahawks, Colts and the lions . Had jets in the eliminator game for such a long time but changed it to the safer option of the Packers

Went 12-2 this week with only the Colts and Cowboys fecking it up so far.

Tony Romo is so clutch.
He ran that final drive to perfection. But let's be honest, he's been on the wrong side of those way more than he's been on the right. It's unreal how many times he'd find ways to feck it up in the biggest games at the most inopportune times. He was "Mr. Anti-Clutch". Only in the past couple years has he finally seemed to shake that off.

How did Manziel play yesterday?

I am pretty new to NFL but I have been told that this is a myth, since he became a starting QB in 06 he has more 4th quarter comeback wins than anyone else in the NFL

49ers are on super fecking late, might try and catch a few hours sleep before midnight and see the games.

Interested to see if they do much with Hayne.

Yep same here.

I'm hoping Hayne gets some gametime - either at RB or returning kicks - if he gets some space to run in then he will make things happen.

Haven't seen the highlights from the Giants game yet, but god damn it Eli.
It was more the coaches fault should have ran it with 1 .40 on the clock instead threw , in fact should have not kicked a 3 pointer and ran it twice leaving Dallas on there own 1-2 yard line with a minute on the clock, ridiculous clock management.

What an opening weekend!

I thought the Rams would narrowly beat the Gulls but in a low scoring game. I thought the Bills had a great chance but again it would be tight.

Unfortunately those dirty Cowgirls managed to pull off the victory much to my disgust. But overall what a great start to the season.

It's good to have you back football! Finally something I can enjoy watching again! :D

I think another major talking point is how defenses have been targeting OBJ since the ending of last season.

He might struggle this year.

Of course he can. With his experience, he should have known better. This is Football 101 stuff.
Yeah, but he's no play calling QB like Brady or his brother. He was told throw, so he threw.

The only thing you could call him on was chucking it out of the endzone with no target, at that point he was better off being sacked.

There's no "might" about it. He's on the Madden cover. I'll be amazed if he simply manages to avoid injured reserve this season.

Oh yeah, the curse.

I usually don't believe in superstition, but it is kind of creepy.

The 4th quarter comeback wins stat can be a bit misleading. Dan Marino (my favorite QB ever) had the honor of this title forever and trust me, he didn't have a reputation of being clutch or a winner. There may or may not be validity to the claim that his mishaps stick out more due to his high-profile status as being the QB for "America's team". But there's no doubt these mishaps were real and took place at the most inopportune times. Just googled Romo and choke, and all these articles popped up. A couple of them say it's inconclusive whether or not Romo is a choker, but I'll say this: if Romo circa 2007-2013 wasn't a choker/bottler, then it's tough to make the argument anyone was.

He's actually a very good QB, he just tends to throw very high profile interceptions, which stick in the mind then lead to confirmation bias
He is a very good QB, no doubt about it. Who had a real habit of choking in big games. His biggest choke was probably the bobbled hold against the Seahawks, not some pick.

Fair play, he seems to have worked it out in the last couple years.
