So.

After that turnover and more Panthers points. Thinking i should go to bed and have time for the gym in the morning

EDIT
Scratch that

EDIT2
Maybe after all

Palmer doesn't seem very interested in making it to the Super Bowl.

pats should have kicked two field goals not go for it and then when gronk catches the 3rd try on 4th down - the bomb to the denver 10 with 1:30 left , you run it 3 times clock runs down pats kick field goal win by one. get killed by NC in the Supe. you wouldn't need to go for touchdowns on any of those drives , take the points when they're there. Bill fecked it big style but won't take any heat because he's Bill.

Yeah the Patriots should have planned to have three long drives, three defensive stops and three successful field goals with a kicker who already missed an extra point and do this all in the last six minutes. Damn you belichick!

Oh well, at least im not going to suffer at work all day tomorrow after staying up to watch the second one...oh wait

My best friend lives two blocks from BoA Stadium so it would have been great, but I would have had to leave Thursday because of the weather to get to Charlotte.

Both Palmer and Gostowski are getting some huge stick from their fans on Twitter. They are tearing them apart. But regarding the SB, I think Carolina is going to win it despite our defense being so strong. Our offense is just stagnant at the moment. And you rush Cam enough, he will start taking off so its going to be easy sacking him as well.

Yea exactly. Once you understand the basics you're fine and you pick the rest up as you go.

@Paz in my experience you'll get into the sport much better if you have a team to follow. Just don't pick the fecking Pats, there's too many of then on here already.
Thanks (all you guys).
Have to admit I'm drawn to NE, or maybe San Fran (but they seem to be rubbish?)

Hate the Pats - just like everyone outside of Boston, so awesome to watch them lose in that manner lololol

That Bronco D was incredible though...mind you, Brady is 2-7 in Denver now and 1-3 in the playoffs against Payton. Brady has a history of struggling there and it played out the same way this time around - however, as much as I hate him...that O line got torn apart by the Broncos.

Brady has been getting rid of the ball very quickly all season, but against Denver, even that didn't work.

As for Carolina - again that D is incredible, they are such ball hawks. But, Cam is on another planet atm - inside the pocket, outside the pocket...running the ball...he is unstoppable.

Denver is going to have to prevent the Panthers from flying out of the gates like they have the past two weeks otherwise it'll be all over. However, if they can contain them early, I think it might end up being a very close game.

As for the Cardinals - Carson Palmer let that team down big time - he started out very poor last week, but got away it, with it, but no such luck against the Panthers. But it wasn't just him, down 17-7 - with momentum and good field position coming up, PP with the muffed punt. That hurt them badly.

Thanks (all you guys).

I'm a 49ers fan! Born in SF.We had a few years of glorious heartbreak in the last few years, should have won at least one Super Bowl but not to be. Successful in the 80s/early 90s but not right now. There was a good rivalry with the Seahawks a few years back but they're far superior now. Don't support them though, they're dicks!

I will say, supporting a team on the West Coast and living in Ireland, the time difference is that much more difficult when watching home games. but I'd be glad to see another 9ers fan on here!

Who is this upstart badmouthing the Seahawks?!

You're right about choosing a West Coast team, it's a bad choice for someone here if thinking logically.

Nb. Picking 49ers is like picking Liverpool. I'll just leave that there.

Almost every team go through phases of being rubbish, it's just how the NFL works, teams like the Titans and Jags are fairly consistently rubbish, but all it takes is a year or two of good drafts and some good off season trades and any team can do well.

I'd suggest avoiding an asshole team though, like the Seahawks or Ravens.

@Paz watch the 2015 'NFL Hard Knocks' show, you'll be a Texans fan by the end of it.
Yup, worked for me! They've got some fantastic players in D like Watt, Wilfork, Cushing, Johnson had a very good rookie year as well. Only thing lacking is a good QB because Hoyer is.. well, Hoyer.

Texans are a good shout regardless of Hard Knocks, to be fair.

Texans? Never heard of them.
Am defo swaying towards the Patriots - a good friend (colleague) is from Boston and supports them too, says they've been rubbish until last 10-15 years or so.

SF sounds tedious. NE it is!

If I were you I'd support Kansas City Chiefs or Atlanta Falcons.

Well, you could support the Lions with me and @Eboue, but it's a lifetime of pain and suffering.

Wilfork was one of my fave Pats, my first Pats shirt was a Wilfork one too.

Good lad!

Pats were shite until Belichick and Brady came along.

Ps I'm guessing Canada doesn't have a NFL team?
There's Canadian football but no one cares.

If you are gonna be a NE fan, you're gonna enjoy Gronk!

You could actually pick an AFC and NFC team, they won't come into conflict until the Super Bowl if they get that far... I guess NE isn't a bad pick for a new fan (bit typical though) as they're high profile, east coast and successful... everyone will call you a glory hunter though
But, you can enjoy it with your mate so that's good!
