I don't think a lot of people really know what constitutes a catch and what doesn't these days tbf..
You, every NFL referee, and John Harbaugh.

Me too! But that's pretty technical stuff I find, and if I were just starting out watching the sport like @Paz I wouldn't worry about that and just get enough of the basic rules down to enjoy the sport and pick up the other stuff as it happens

Yea exactly. Once you understand the basics you're fine and you pick the rest up as you go.

@Paz in my experience you'll get into the sport much better if you have a team to follow. Just don't pick the fecking Pats, there's too many of then on here already.

What are you referring to?
I was referring to the stars the team captians have under the captain 'C' badge on their uniforms. But i think @RobinLFC has cleared it up.
I think you get a golden star for each consecutive year you get picked as a captain. Once you've been captain for more than four years, the C becomes gold as well (like Rodgers for example).

Carolina is really dominant. Reminds me a bit of the Warriors last year. After they win the title, we´ll probably say: Yeah kinda makes sense they were by far the best team the whole season.

I echo Rado's thoughts, please not the Pats @Paz

Don't be a Browns fan either, for your own good.

Panthers have everything, a fantastic defense, the running game of Stewart. Good receivers and a quarterback who is a threat in every aspect. And one of the best TE's in Olsen.

That's a lot of teams.

Carolina have been the most entertaining offensive team this year that's for sure.
Steelers for me.

Also I don't know how you can say Seattle was better than Carolina this year. It took us about 8 games to get going and were beaten by them twice.
