Of course a HC has power

Obviously this isn't going to be like Philly for him.

You think if a HC says - I absolutely do NOT want this player the GM will still get that player? They do sometimes - and in those circumstances, the HC ends up leaving. Chip is starting afresh and I'm sure personnel was one of those things that was discussed during the interviews.

With Baalke? He will have no power, they will discuss and he might convince Baalke from time to time but nothing more. And he said himself that he wanted the coach and leave the front office deal with the roster.

Although that's how responsibilities sit, that doesn't mean he has no say.

All all coach-FO relationships (or at least the successful ones) will collaborate on these decisions. Not having ownership is very different to a situation where you walk in one day and find some players traded away.

Pats return today! Was a tough match-up beforehand but now Gronk's injury has me worried, hopefully it doesn't limit him too much. Edelman's return is massive, but he's not played in a very long time & will probably be a little rusty. It's so important the OL does a much better job of protecting Brady. Home-field should help, but I'm leaning towards the Chiefs winning this one. I think our defensive game-plan will be to make Smith throw the ball & make him beat us. Can't let them be dominant on the ground.

Excellent match-ups this weekend. I'm going for Chiefs, Cardinals, Panthers & Broncos to win (obviously hope I'm wrong on the first prediction).
 
Going Pats, Packers, Seahawks and Broncos. NFC Championship rematch! :cool:

Excellent drive. Edelman & Gronk heavily involved, Brady looking good. Will be nice if we establish a run as well but great start.

Playoff football is so much more fun - every down & every drive matters. All or nothing. Love it :devil:

It does look a bit grainy for me, not sure if it's because of the zoomed in shit.

I'm watching on SkyGo so it's never great, but I'd say it looks worse than normal definitely.
 
Seems the zoom camera is only for the middle of the field. Stupid whoever decided that.

Chiefs looking good on this drive.

Another drop, albeit a more difficult one.

Really need to establish a run on the next drive. At least try running it more than once.
