I'm Packers too, though still new and idiotic about it all.

Ahhhh damnit, its the way he talked about two teams within a sentence, damnit. lol. Yeah, I know Edgar is :D

oooh, another Packers fan on here :)

Agree regarding defence, because the defence will keep us in the tie for 2/3 quarters. But if we can get the offence going (receivers catching, Arod hitting targets) it will leave space for the running game and (obviously) keep the defence fresh (much like yesterday).

 sorry to say, but I'm not a Cheesehead! I'm a Patriots fan. I was saying that if you guys can turn your offence on after a shite half a season, then I'm more hopeful that Brady and co. can get it going once we get some of our pieces back.

I don't get the whole Seattle luck thing. They've been the #1 team in DVOA for 4 straight years and will likely end up with only one superbowl win out of that. Even today, that was not PI on Chancellor.

Agreed, I'm a Vikings fan but I spent the game admiring the Seahawk defense, they are almost perfect.

 dirty?! Maybe you should hire a BUTLER to clean me up ;)

Burfict suspended for 3 games. Probably justified.

But, if I am to play devil's advocate - what is so different between what OBJ did and what Burfict did? In fact, you could make a case that OBJ's was even more obviously targeting.

3 games not just because of that hit - being a repeat offender is what resulted in the 3 game suspension. Don't forget he got fined $50,000 for that hit on the Ravens player.

Does this mean the Rams feck off out of the NFC West?

Edit - just read that back. Probably not.

Not surprised there's a team back in LA. Rams seemed to have the best plan of all the teams wanting to relocate.

How does this one year option thing work? Does it mean that the Chargers have a year to decide if they will join them in the new stadium? The Raiders lose out big time in all of this. But they might just be able to negotiate a good deal for themselves with the NFL mind.

Decided to watch Hard Knocks again with the missus as she's been getting into the NFL more recently, there's quite a bit in here that was cut out for the Sky version, they must have had time constraints.

Hope the Rams are on it this year.

I'd assume they'd be exempt as they relocated? Hard knocks is a really good programme

My understanding is that the only exemptions are:

- you have an first year head coach
- you've made the playoffs in the last 2 years
- you've already featured on the show

There was a list knocking around a few weeks ago of the 9 or 10 teams that were eligible and all 3 teams who were looking to relocate were on it.

To me it'd be crazy for the league to not make it the Rams; seeing what goes into a teams relocation would be very interesting.

Now that you mention it I do remember seeing that list somewhere!

Agree it would be amazing if the Rams were on it!

49ers - hire Chip Kelly
Browns - hired Hue Jackson (OC from Bengals)
Iggles - Coughlin ruled himself out (he was a strong candidate)
G-Men - Bob McAdoo (promoted from OC)

Probably means Kaepernick gets another chance with Kelly going to the Niners.

Sad to hear of the death of former Rams and 49ers RB Lawrence Phillips.
Extremely talented RB at college but too many demons in his mind to use his gifts.

That really would make for some good tv viewing.

Or maybe....he gets rid of Kaep and Bradford signs for the Niners. We know he likes Chip and Chip is obviously a huge fan.

Chip has no power, Baalke will be the one making the rosters moves. I don't know if it's better though.

Very happy with getting Chip Kelly.

My hope is that this means Kap will stay - I think he could fit into a Kelly offense pretty well. It would mean that he will be forced to make quicker decisions with regard to releasing the ball, but the flip side to that is that a uptempo style of offense keeps the defensive personell on the field longer and limits / prevents many changes...which subsequently gives easier reads fort he QB.

The bottom line is that he brings some excitement to the offense that we have missed for a number of seasons. It might not work straight away, it could take time, but at least we may have some new ideas of things to try.
