Nfl 2010-2011

Some great games today - Vick leading Eagles to within one TD of the Giants, Cowboys & Redskins tied up and the Baltimore & Colts are both leading with only 3 points. Tampa & the Lions gone into OT.

Jaguars attempt for an onside kick was pathetic - Colts return it for a TD and that game is all over.

Lions win in OT and snap their 26 game losing streak on the road.

Vick is having one hell of a season. Eagles score and make it 31-31 with 1:16 left.

Redskins lose a close game to the Cowboys.

What a win for the Eagles - Jackson dropped the ball and then eventually returned the punt for the win. Vick was brilliant that 4th quarter

amazing. that game probably proves the eagles don't have the depth to go deep into the playoffs tho, the D was poor until giants pulled back the playbook to try and protect the lead and run out the clock.

I really don't understand the giants playcalling on that last possession. I would have taken maybe one shot at it and then run out the clock. too risky with potential interceptions and as proven giving it back to eagles even for 1 second

The AFC champion is going to annihilate the NFC champion in the Super Bowl. There's not a single standout club in the NFC this season.

And should Seattle lose today, the NFC West division winner is guaranteed to finish with no better than eight wins. Atrocious. The NFL shouldn't allow the winner in the playoffs if there are six other NFC teams with a better record.

tebow! if anyone is watching cna you please tell us how he is throwing. Still good on the ground it seems

There is not a single standout team in all of NFL besides the Pats.

The Superbowl champion will come from the NFC though.

agreed with this.
Steelers looked fantastic when big ben first came back but the injuries on the oline have really nullified them.

Pats gonna win this in a canter

What about the Falcons? They have the same record as the Pats and have looked good all season.

falcons look brilliant at home and although do win away, they look a totally different team. Whereas the pats are just ridiculous home and away

There are no complete teams this year. I still see three or four teams being capable of making it to the Superbowl from the AFC. The Patriots have several flaws which are being covered up schematically by defensive coaching schemes and personnel packages - a lot of players rotate in and out. That is why the Jets tried to run a no huddle offense with Sanchez instead of playing their usual style, it backfired drastically.

If a team gets up two scores and has a few momentum plays on special teams or something in a big game its still too hard to call how the young players (especially on defense) will respond. See the Cleveland debacle. They have a nice opportunity in front of themselves but its time to pump the breaks a little on this recent media based love fest.

-Redskins lose again :( Good game though....Hopefully I never have to see McNabb playing for the Skins again.

- Ravens, what a result.

-Eagles, and those 3 TDs in the last 8-9minutes

Crazy crazy day in the NFL, and it ain't over yet

I really despise DeSean Jackson's goal line theatrics. Act like you've been there before and not like some punk. If I were the Giant's last trailing player on that return I'd have laid his punk ass out for that stunt.

Yeah it is going to be funny one day when a defender just levels him on the goal line

i thought it wa running down the clock to zero before crossing the plane

but I'm not sure as I only saw the replay on nfl.com and didn't see the clock

Last week was good fun, this week funny enough, I thought it was a good move, helped to kill off time to ensure the Giants wouldn't get the ball again(it could have been done in a more sedate manner...but still).

I know some people get frustrated by things like that...I think it's good fun, people/players get offended at too many things.

last week was great. If the clock was already 0 when he did that today the giants defender wasn't that far awy from him when he cut across, which wwould have made him look stupid if he got decked

What he does is simply taunting and acting a punk. Guys like Ochocinco and TO are funny with their dances and shenanigans. There is a huge difference between the celebrations.

This is the grey area for me...His opponents potentially become a part of his celebrations, but no one has really complained so far, so I'm thinking the players for whatever reason so far are cool with it.

But when they aren't I'm sure they'll let him know all about it...

*crunch*

It may be some psychological thing with him after he embarrassed himself dropping the ball in Dallas before he crossed the line a year or two ago. So perhaps he's taking out all that ridicule from the past every time he scores. Basically, he's an arrogant twat.

fecking Raiders. Why do they have an OK season when our draft pick is reliant on them?

I wouldn't care if Rex Ryan had a heart attack. fecking Jabba The Hut cnut.

Congratulations.

I've hired a band to come play at my house tomorrow for a celebration party. My mum will be making some sandwiches.

The guest list at the moment is only me, but Im expecting literally hundreds of people to show up. Feel free to pop round!

One of these years for one of my private leagues we're going to have a custom ring made.

Packers start the game with an onside kick and recover it.

BenJarvus Green Ellis TD - the Pats running game has improved this year. feck Green Bay and their onside kick tactics - Pats lead 7-3.
