Eagles oline has always been a bit meh...it has been Vicks ability to make plays on the move and scramble that has made it look better than it actually is

same old story? the D has carried this team this season. now special teams has had it's moments that's for sure. four loses all by 3 points. great game yesterday but should have won. not too disappointed though...except that the bears didn't cooperate.
I hope to god we get our corners back next week. Samuel being out is such a huge blow for our defence.

Yeah, O-Line sucked but we still put up 26 points. Vick got his short game going after the first couple of drives. I was impressed again by him, he seems to be answering every question thrown at him. Bit more ball security needed though.
Still think Samuel would of given us a pick run back at some point against Cutler he loves to jump the timing routes.

Vick adapted well the the defensive scheme and showed there's no realy stopping him. Bears basically setting out to contain an explosive offence conceded that you can't stop Michael vick playing the way he currently is.

It'll be interesting to see what we do with the QB situation in the Off-Season. Vick in this mood if he keeps it up and puts together a play-off run is going to garner a lot of interest/value if Reid wants to stick with Kolb but why trade one of the best weapons you have when Kolb himself can still be worth a lot in a trade.
It's all very interesting I genuinley think that if we are smart this off season we have enough in place already to make a serious push for the super bowl next season. This year I feel we'll come up short.

i read reports they'll franchise tag Vick to keep him. Probably means kolb will be traded (which is a shame because he started showing why the eagles were high on him)

stobzilla - giving up 31 points to the Bears is a definite sign of a team that will come up short in the playoffs.

I don't think we would of given up 31 points with our starting corners though. Stewart Bradley had a bit of a DERP moment on that big Forte run though.
it was a poor performance by the D. Gave up too many big plays. That said, Vick should have started dumping hte ball off alot earlier than he did as we really moved the ball against the soft D chicago played

They were interviewing Brent Musberger about the OU-Nebraska game, and he said Barry Switzer would just throw back scotch at the bar with friends the night before the game. hahha God those Dallas teams had so many fecking characters, I think Switzer also got arrested for taking a gun to the airport during the preseason one year
