Nfl 2008-2009

Have been since the RANDOM TEAM SELECT on our Madden tournament in 2001.

Good time.

My story was better. It had computer games and everything. I went first, pressed square for the customary 5 seconds.. and Patriots. Amazing.

:lol::lol:

To be fair, Cheryl would probably turn my head, no matter who we were playi...

No, lets not be stupid.

To be fair Cheryl is much better looking than Bruce Springsteen.

She also does not have a penis. Which is important.

I support the Patriots because I lived with a guy from Boston for a year, and he introduced me to American Football. In other words, eat shit.

Is the two of you at a hockey game?

Terrible penalty on Adrian Wilson. Just terrible.

You just can't do that in a game as big as this. He is one of their better players as well.

Bonehead play. A few plays ago that was a bogus non-call (clear intentional grounding) and bogus call (roughing the passer). I see the refs have picked up where they last gifted the Steelers a Super Bowl victory.

That facemask call was a joke tbh.

MJ dropped $1.2 million playing BJ in the Hard Rock in Tampa last Thursday......just thought I would throw that out there during the 83rd advert break.

We have a major headache with Cassel. You just dont bench Tom Brady, but Cassel did an alright job last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cassel was franchised. Just in case anything should happen Brady after such a huge injury, and also, healthy competition never hurts. If need be, we could then trade Cassel and get some very good pick ups in his place.

Agreed. I wonder how Toms knee is recovering. Must be coming along, he got down on it not too long ago!

The problem with the franchise tag is then they'll have to give him a massive pay raise. Not really the norm for the Pats. I think they'd do better to trade him and gets some good picks.

We certainly do need some freshening up on the D.

He is running around, lifting weights and even dropping back to throw a few passes.

There is still a little bit of looseness in one of the ligaments and stiffness due to the infections.

Looks like he will be ready to go opening day either way.

Well, if they do franchise him, its $14 million, plus Brady's salary. But if Brady isnt fit and misses next season, retirement will be a pretty big possibility for him, as 2 years out is just too much to come back from ACL and MCL damage in 1 knee, although Brady has spoke of playing for another 10 years, so his determination is unquestionable and I expect him back.

Imo, they have to franchise him. Its that, or let him leave for nothing. And a QB who comes from playing no football for years to an 11-5 season can NOT be let go for nothing, even with Brady (hopefully) coming back from injury.

That's like $13-15m one year tender. They'd probably try to trade him before training camp to lessen the cap hit. The salary cap only covers the top 51 salaried players until the first week of the regular season. Then it covers all player costs, bonuses, etc.
