Looking forward to next season the Pats need to improve the secondary and bring in another receiver.

Still questions remain about Welker, but even if he stays we need another threat for Brady to exploit. The TEs are excellent but both had injury problems this year, hopefully that will not be an issue next season. The RBs had very good seasons and brought balance to the attack.

D was slightly better than last year with Jones and Hightower being solid additions, Ninkovich and Wilfork having good years and the acquisition of Talib but there are still deficiencies which must be addressed.

This. Secondary is still garbage when Talib isn't playing. Dennard looks good.

I keep hearing about Ray Lewis' past, what's the general consensus on it in America?

Sure it.

Two fumbles returns by the 49ers lost them the game.

A dropped TD pass and missed short FG lost the Ravens the game.

Clear as day it should have happened but preventable mistakes lost games.

I didn't realise Baltimore would've won the game had Cundiff kicked that field goal to level the game. 23-23 to Baltimore!

Patriots lose. That ends a truly dreadful day of sport.

Learn to read.

A dropped TD pass would have won that game with seconds left. The missed short FG sealed a loss.

I know you just want to nitpick but do read.

I can read. Then why do think that had Cundiff made that field goal Baltimore would've made the SB, as per your original statement? Yes the miss sealed the loss but who's to say NE wouldn't have won in OT?

Shit game. The loss of Talib was crucial once Flacco started airing the ball the secondary just couldn't cope.

The retarded clock management to end the half, Welker with a crucial drop and then the big hit on Ridley forcing the fumble were huge points in the game which ultimately cost us. Failure to convert in the RedZone was poor.

The absence of Gronk and, to a lesser extent, Jones was also important and I'm not too surprised Baltimore won this game.

Fortunately Ridley looked to be ok after that hit. Pollard is a giant cnut and I hope he gets his just deserts.

Fair play to Baltimore, superb second half performance on both sides of the ball. Flacco was every bit as elite as he claimed.

So it will be the Har-Bowl. feck the game, I'm going to be watching only for Beyonce

More about Baltimore dropping the TD pass, but it's 50/50 on who wins an overtime game.

I find you're making an argument from a simple opinion, it's really no big deal. I simply believe Baltimore and San Francisco had the games won (won late) last year and mistakes cost them.

Seems karma agrees today.

Turnovers are just as big a part of the game as TDs or Field goals. I agree that SF probably should've made the super bowl last year, but New England were the better team against the Ravens last year. Quite the opposite this year.

I don't see how one can say New England were the better team when Baltimore had the game won but not for a dropped TD pass.

And Flacco outperformed Brady.

So New England were the better team in the super bowl only for a dropped pass by Welker right at the end? And I'm pretty sure it wasn't a dropped pass but a great tackle by Sterling Moore. The NE Def made a play, not the other way round.

Every game is different.

Baltimore outgained New England, won the possession battle, and virtually every statistical category, and had the game won but for a dropped TD pass.

New England win if Welker catches the ball and it would have been deserving. He didn't catch it and the Giants had a very long drive and won the game, thus being quite deserving of champions. The Patriots had most of the statistical edges until the Giants went on that late drive.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Absolutely shocked. And chuffed. I had so little faith in a victory but the entire team stepped it up when it mattered. Ravens' revenge! :D

I'm tired of the Brady and Patriots love in.

But feck me, there's not a team I hate more than the Ravens of course. It's going to be their year isn't it? God damn it.

The Ravens are the Chelsea of the NFL. They get to the big game despite there being about nine better teams in the competition. feck team sports.

Disappointed from last night but big mistakes on the patriots side and then the second half just went all to shit. Hope the niners kick the shit out of them in the superbowl. I hate the Ravens and I hate Ray Lewis, thank feck we dont have to face him again.

Believe it or not, defense plays a huge part in football. More so during the play-offs.

I dont get why people on here hate Brady. Is there any particular reason as to why you guys hate him?

I went on twitter after the game and people were ripping him.

I don't get it myself: he's a nice guy, hall of fame QB and I don't think he himself has been involved in any controversy. Surprised by all the hate he gets.

Brady is an amazing player, most people are probably jealous of his extremely fit wife.

As for the Superbowl, I want the Niners to lose. Ray Lewis starting to get really annoying with all the dancing and crying and general assorted stupidity, but I'll take ANYTHING over a Niners win.

Leaving your pregnant girlfriend for a supermodel is a pretty douchey act, imo. His arrogance is very annoying. The tuck or the "Brady" rule, which has made NFL a pussy, no contact sport like football. Another reason why I dislike him and New England are because of their coach. They are cheats. I am sure you have heard of the spygate.
