Late flag on that. Big penalty.

Clear foul.

A long FG coming up...

Good kick.

TD wins it. Come on D, make a stop please.

NFL overtime is still bogus. Both teams should get a possession irregardless of the first team scoring. This "allow a FG and you get a chance but allow a TD and you do not" is asinine.

Yes! Ninko with a tackle behind the line for a loss of 2.

Will be reviewed...

It's a fumble. Great tackle by ninkovic.

Haha feck you Rex.

That was an awkward hug.

Big win for the pats.

Superb game. Big win to go 4-3 and win a division game. Even better that we beat the jets.

Patriots finally win a close game, fantastic drive by Brady took it to OT and 2 clutch FGs won it.

D made the plays when they had to, there is improvement upfront but the secondary is still a big problem for us. We also need to close games out when we're ahead and we can't let games get close as it did today.

Sick to the stomach at the defensive lapse allowing Eli and Cruz to hook up...still feeling more and more positive about my Skins on a weekly basis. We'll be 8-8 or 9-7 at best this season, but RGIII is legit as can be.

Can't wait to be back home next season and watch him live!!!

Eli Manning - 22nd 4th quarter comeback of his career, the man has ice running through his veins, fecking incredible(he actually wasn't that great against a beat up D for most of the game, but when it mattered, BOOM) :(

Loving the NFL this season. But been on too many wrong sides from a betting scenario. Came good last night when I played on the jets in 4th and they caught NE out to lead 26-23 in 4th. Was able to lay the other side.

I want to know what everyone's opinion on Tebow is. Why have the Jets payed all this money for him to do nothing? Someone explain the sense in that to me?

A few 'experts' said the Tebow move was only a publicity stunt by the Jets. Others thought they would use him as a RB option or as a QB in the RedZone where he could be a threat with the pass and be able to run it in. They haven't really done anything with him of note so far.

It's interesting Rex Ryan referred to Tebow as a 'football player' rather than 'quarter-back' - suggesting he never saw Tebow as a QB option and intended to use him on special teams, trick plays or as a RB. They haven't really done any of that.

My personal opinion on Tebow is that he is a pathetic QB at the best of times. With the Broncos the only 2 passes I saw Tebow make with any confidence was the deep pass (made easier by the defense playing for the run and being caught out) or the pass on the slant route, which every QB in the world could make blindfolded.

Although he can run the ball, he's not been used as a RB for more than the odd snap. I actually think he would make a decent RB/FB with the option to pass.

Tebow often sails his slant passes high or low. If he's given time in the pocket had can windup a deep pass. And that windup motion is one of the reasons he will not be a starting QB.

As for him being a RB/FB, that's been mentioned a few times on various NFL shows. The overriding negative I've heard is that he doesn't have the speed to be a RB, though I'm sure he could be a solid FB/H-back, a Chris Cooley type perhaps.

The sport that is suited most for him might be rugby.

I don't get the issue with his throwing motion. Well I do, but I don't see it as such a detractor that he can't be a starting QB in the NFL. Kolb's throwing motion is picture perfect, I'd still rather start Tebow in almost any situation. He's a very good at reading the defense, he's got ridiculous leadership/drive/will/mental strength/whatever-you-want-to-call-it, and he's as good at extending the play as any QB in the league. Will he ever be an accomplished pocket passer? Probably not. But given he's young and seems to have a positive attitude to practice and working on his mechanics, I think he could (maybe in a year or two) attain the accuracy needed to succeed in the NFL. It's really the only thing holding him back, and its an attribute that, to an extent, can be learned.

As for why the Jets brought him in, no clue. Most likely for publicity, they certainly haven't shown any real desire to utilise his abilities on the field.

So basically the only thing stopping him being a good QB is he can't throw?

Tebow's accuracy is below par, his reads take too long to make, and the windup motion scares the beejeezus out of coaches. The windup takes additional time and with the ball coming low can easily be knocked away from the QB.

Tebow has enough x-factors about him that he can win games without being a solid passer at the moment. His mechanics and being an accurate passer, will develop if he's given the starting job for a season, which won't happen with the Jets. Let's not forget that Michael Vick was an awful passer in his early days with Atlanta and he's come along way since then.

I'll never understand why the Jaguars didn't go all out to land Tebow, considering how little the Broncos wanted in return. If you can change your offense to suit Tebow like the Panthers did with Newton or Redskins did with RG3, he is good enough to probably lead that team to the playoffs.

Vick was miles ahead in throwing mechanics and arm strength. Raw but more advanced than Tebow as a QB.

Newton and Griffin are far better passers than Tebow.

So basically the only thing stopping him being a good QB is he can't throw?

What's stopping him is his lack of accuracy, mostly on short and intermediate length routes. Like someone else noted, he's actually not bad at the deep ball. Short and intermediate routes are the bread and butter of the NFL passing game, so until he figures them out any offense with him starting will be very limited. On those routes its his timing and accuracy that let him down.

So its not that he can't throw, its that he can't make certain throws. The ability to complete those throws effectively can be improved over time, with practice. The more "uncoachable" aspects of QB play he has demonstrated competency in. It would take a patient organization to give him the opportunity, but his intangibles mean that there could be a significant upside to doing so.

That was awesome.

Spikes knocking Shonn Greene out excited me more strangely and got me off my seat. He has his issues on and off the field but he can really hit and is starting to get a reputation. His work between the guards has been really outstanding this season and it’s not really showing up on the stat sheet. He gave them the opportunity to win the Arizona game and killed Lynch behind the LOS a couple of times against Seattle which lead to stops. Hope he can avoid injury and suspension to play a full 16 games.

Another solid job by the OL in this game, with both starting guards down.

Newton and Griffin are far better passers than Tebow.

Yep. Obviously a small sample size and he is a rookie so he will have bad games and could throw five picks against the Steelers but Griffin is a very talented pure thrower and has a lot of arm talent. Accurate in the pocket and on the move. They have changed the offense and played in a controlled way to make the most of his talents and make up for a lack of talent elsewhere - not cover up his flaws. They’re going to have to get him some more weapons.

On a 5 game win streak in the fantasy league

Good game this week between me and Tuck Rulers, I held on for a 105.56-104.60 win

Awful. Just awful. I’m finding even more ways to lose.

A Phil Dawson botched extra point away. My overall point total isn’t even that bad.

I saw that game and he was phenomenal. I don't watch usually watch the NFL but have been because of Luck and RG3. With Luck and him, this has to be one of the better QB classes in years. Who do you think is going to have a better career?
