Dont particularly want either long term to be brutally honest. We could get good use of either for a couple of years but think longer term they'd be as much of a liability as an asset. So Ronaldo is the easy choice for me. Obvious end in sight and we dont need to pay a stupid fee for him.
Don’t want Neymar anywhere near us.
If we somehow found the money for Neymar then this club hasnt changed a jot. He would only be here for a big payday on the decline. Do not want. Let TH bring in young hungry players who he can turn into WC players

Neymar, fecking rat. Just got rid of two dick heads in Pogba and Lingard, don't need another clown. Ronaldo is our greatest of all time, this place never disappoints.
Neymar is comfortably the better player today but he comes with a huge baggage that would likely badly affect the dressing room and the team's overall culture. Ronaldo is not really suitable for the type of football we hope to be playing, so neither.

There has to be someone who would be a better choice than Neymar.
Because both are better off operating from the left. We already have Sancho and Rashford that can cover the LW. We aren't going to sell Rashford, whether that would be the right move or not. On top of that, ten Hag wants players that can press and with Ronaldo in the team, we already have to compensate for him. Neymar would make it worse.

Literally not true and tells me you've not watched him 1 bit at PSG.
His injury record is a concern, but Neymar is comfortably a better player now.

His numbers has been underwhelming for years even when he was playing for dominating side in weak league, while last season he wasn’t even among one of the top players in French league.
12 goals in farmers league last season, 0 goal in CL, over 28 games. Comfortably better player? Don’t think so.

13 goals and 6 assists, better stats per 90 than Ronaldo who's a striker and provides next to nothing apart from goals.
Neymar is easily better player than Ronaldo but I would have Ronaldo in the team. Ideally we should have good young CF and Ronaldo to go wherever he wants but we don't have ideal scenario.

You serious? Per 90 mins stats in farmers league over PL under smaller sample size is all you could based on?
First of all, let’s make it clear, Neymar is playing for a dominating side in farmers league, Ronaldo was playing for disjointed side in toughest/best League. It’s not fair comparison to begin with. Normally stats in French league should deduct by around 40% (roughly) when translate to PL standard. For example Zlatan has 50 goals in 51 games over 15-16 season in French league, he only has 28 goals in 46 games over 16-17 season in PL. And this is just one example from many. What next Yedder is comfortably better than Salah because he has more goals in Ligue 1 over Salah PL numbers?
Secondly, in league Neymar only has 13 goals 6 assist in 22 league games (5th ranked league) last season. Ronaldo has 18 goals 3 assists in 27(3) league games (best league) last season. Overall speaking Ronaldo wins.
In CL for fair comparison, Ronaldo has 6 goals in 7 games, Neymar 2 assist in 5(1) games.
Ronaldo easily wins again.
Thirdly, Ronaldo was voted in PL team of season, Neymar was out of Ligue 1 team of season. Ronaldo easily wins again.
Now tell me, how is Neymar comfortable better player in any sense?
Lastly let’s look at their numbers in past 3 seasons:
19-20: Ronaldo 37 Neymar 19

Agreed. Neymar is the better footballer of the two right now though, when he is not injured or partying.
He is already on a “big” pay day at PSG. He would only move for some footballing reason not for money.
If he came here he would be on more money than he was at PSG. Why else move? We cant guarantee him anything. Not even CL, never mind a shoe in for a trophy.
He is not just technique though, he puts out numbers. His career stats in terms of goals etc are really really high. Even more so when you consider he is a wide forward.
This is a guy who will end his career having scored more goals for club and country than Brazilian Ronaldo.
Neymar is a colossal bell end and I want him nowhere near the club.
