Again messi,haaland, mbappe, Lewandowski, anyone really doesn't press. They understand that the goalscorer is employed,expected and paid to score.

I would rather see how the land lies a bit. If Carrick can get us playing with a bit more devil, and organisation, then I'll take that, because Ole has left us in a mess.
We should not force this, because this will attract opportunists. Unfortunately, we are no longer under any pressure of expectation to actually win anything this season, so I would let Carrick sort out what he can. He's tarred by the Ole-brush, for sure, but he has to sort that out because he will be aware of that. Do some press inteviews, tell people what he feels and what he plans. Define himself as the current coach and as an individual.
But he needs to clear that coaching mob out.

Spurs were clearly the best team and squad in the league alongside Leicester that year. After 30 games they were what? 6 points clear of a flaky Arsenal side and chasing down Leicester hard.
In the end, they fell apart and finished 3rd behind a bang average Arsenal side.
That was their year to win something and they didn't. That Poch has gone to PSG and still managed not to win anything isn't doing anything to make that seem like bad luck.

This. Both are quite exciting prospects and would no doubt improve what is happening on the pitch. If the shortlist is either of these two, I'm not going to quibble of which one. Both appeal for slightly different reasons.

Fingers crossed! I have long wanted Poch here and although there are no guarantees it will work out, I find the prospect of actually seeing him in our dugout very exciting. Especially with the talent we have across the field now.

Just to add he seems like a good managerial prospect who has done well in his short career any specific reason why he can't be a top manager in future apart from simple law of averages .
And what are your thoughts on Ten Hag could he succeed at United, if I remember correctly you weren't clearly enamoured with the Idea of Van Da Beek moving to United either who you thought wasn't good enough .
