I would much rather have Potter than rodgersIf we pick Rodgers instead of Ten Hag when the latter is showing indirect interest, we deserve to be laughed at more so than keeping Ole in the job for the last few weeks.

Agreed totally. For once i hope to just get the best candidate for the job, dont even mind writting this season off if it means we get the best there is in the summer.Seeing Ten Hags interview, you have to go for him. Do what it takes. For once make a footballing decision.
We cannot just write off the whole season.
By which time Ronaldo will probably be coming to the end of his contract anyway.Won't happen before WC, so probably have to wait until 2023.
This.We cannot just write off the whole season.
Identify who they want and pay what is required.
I don't care how good his ajax side is, if this Ten Hag guy has anything about him he'll fckin jump at the chance if we offer it to him.
Time to be decisive
Potter is a gamble in the same way Moyes was, I think.I would much rather have Potter than rodgers

Why is it a right off? The squad we have is capable of winning anything (ok maybe not the PL this season). It's a write off anyway. This is now 2022 pre-season and the interim manager can do all that if it's the right guy.

I know we’re all a bit disenchanted after the last few weeks but a good manager can get something from this side.
I’ve just seen an interview after the Ajax match today where he was asked about the United. He refused to rule himself out, even refused to rule out leaving mid season which was very surprising. In fact it was almost as if he was hiding something.
The Hag is coming to Old Trafford..
We're probably not going to win the PL But the season as a whole is hardly a write off. It's a write off anyway. This is now 2022 pre-season and the interim manager can do all that if it's the right guy.
Not sure who you're thinking of, but he's not managed Rennes?Could he get our team to press?
I liked his Rennes team, a lot of hardworking players.

When was this?If we are getting Poch or ETH we then spend a year teaching players how to high press, getting rid of the ones who can't and targeting new ones who can. While we do that we are going to lose a fair few games of football.
So I suggest we start now and get an interim manager who can begin the process. Liverpool and City had to go through that pain under Klopp and Pep. So did Chelsea unrer Lampard. So will we.
That’s true. However likely that is though, we can only wait and see who comes through the door. Until then it’s pointless getting too down or too optimistic about this managerial change. The bolded part is why, there is a fair chance that we don't get a good manager in the short term.
His first season at City. When was this?
Inject this into my veins
Yup, he is perfect. So no, we will not get him. Because....that is not our way.ETH just has that aura about him that Klopp and Pep have. Calm, assured and unwavering belief in his ideas. Let the opposition change their way of playing not the other way around! Go Get Him!!
When they started - though Pep had quite a lot of ground work laid for him already by having his Barca cronies already there. You remember Klopp's first season at Anfield? Finished 8th? Pep finished 3rd in his. When was this?
Yeah definitely remember Klopp having issues at the beginning, but can't say the same about Pep. Then I don't pay that much attention to City in the first place, so could well be wrong hereWhen they started - though Pep had quite a lot of ground work laid for him already by having his Barca cronies already there. His pressing is a good transition for us to be an organised pressing team, it's not a full team press, it's tactical and would suit our players better.
People maybe interpreting a bit too much on Ten Hag's comments? Hope I'm wrong, though.
