I'm not an AM, just offered diarm a sounding board. Have a hectic month ahead.
The snake format will really help with that. Actually, the entire strategy will be influenced by where you are and what those after you have done so far. Otherwise you could be on to a winner but anyone after you (i.e. picking twice after you) can get into your path (one move) then nick your obvious pick (second move).
I hope you don't all behave like gents, at least one must quit in a stroppy meltdown.
Don't know. The Pre-Draft block round is very cruel. Guaranteed meltdown in drafting stage. Expected plenty of "sheep" in the end. I am not sure if my poor heart can handle it

I'd doubt it...How would that work since they are chained to different clubs?
E.g. Starfish (Liverpool) - Spearing (Liverpool/Leicester) - Solano (Leicester/...) - ...
Spearing's peak is at Bolton. Can Bolton be used as reference? Or has to be Liverpool, Leicester or both?

I'd imagine it would be peak at one of the chained clubs, letting you use whichever they were "better" at.

the playing managers rules counting double is a crap rule.
as far as i see there is no clear difference in the knowledge of the managers (just that they have more time on their hands, doesn't make up for actually having watched players)

Aye. I'm not a fan of anything which creates a fog of confusion with the scoreline - so anything that counts double or doesn't count at all is out as far as I'm concerned.
Career peak. I think it'll be tough to get a good team and ever worse to restrict peaks.
Only restriction I'll add is that they must have played a full season (25+ matches together).
Yup. My drafts rarely go for simple team building. I always try to make drafting more challenging. Meltdowns are fun. We still have good memories of old ones to laugh at!

Not simple as. I've seen games where managers votes have all been on one team and scan votes mostly on the other. Either way it should make no difference to the game.
the only way to "remove" scan voters is to give 2 points for every voter that explains his vote...its not ideal, it would be pain in the ass for the person running it but its the best way to remove scan voters IMO
The more votes the better. Nothing wrong with scan voters, they're part of the game. I never liked the two points for manager votes thing either.

The two votes thing is a bit elitist really.
i am not going to vote if it is going to be 2 votes for managers. you don't need others to vote then. just create a separate sub-forum hidden to others and be done with it
