New FM11 experiment

Brian's the next Teddy Sherringham, how has he not had any interest yet?!?

Sorry man I made a mistake in my last transfer update. It was only when you mentioned Forest Green I realised I missed something. You play for Ipswich now:D 275k during the summer.

Makki Z, I missed you out as well, Auxerre signed you for 450k during the summer.

Yay, progressing nicely.

Bit of a problem lads. I moved back home from college yesterday and it would seem that my laptop screen broke while it was being moved. I'll have to wait on Monday to see what the damage is and how long it will take to be repaired. The problem is only with the screen so the save game should be fine once the screen is fixed. It does mean I obviously won't be able to do any updates on this for the time being. I'm hoping it won't take too long to fix and I can get back to this relatively soon.

Plug it into your PC monitor/TV!

:( though, hope you manage to get it fixed.

I might do that tomorrow for the end of the latest season. I'd already simmed up till that stage so I only really need to look over stuff while writing it up and take screenshots. The only HDMI cable in my house is the one that connects the sky box so whether I get a chance to tomorrow is another thing. Monday might be more likely.

Unlucky, hopefully it can be fixed.

Or someone could re-simulate using the attributes posted at the start of the thread. Things would pan out a bit differently, but we'd only lose a season

I certainly would not have the time to deal with a full one. I get the odd weekend where I do feck all (like this one) where I could probably do 2 seasons, but I can't deal with a full one.

Heffo seems to be bailed.

His laptop broke screen broke lads, give it time.

Well lads, sorry I've left it so long without giving any updates but with my laptop out of commission I haven't been logging on much. It's in the shop at the moment and I had been hoping to get it back soon but I got a call yesterday to inform me they reckon it will be at least 3 weeks before they can get the new screen and fit it.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to access the file to copy as the screen was totally gone so I can't pass it on to anyone to continue. When my laptop is fixed I will still continue but unfortunately that won't be any time in the near future.

Just got one today actually, absolutely shit new! After sending it away for three weeks and paying them 400 euro I was looking forward to getting it back this weekend, however they phoned today and said they couldn't fix the screen as there was actually extra stuff wrong with it. Basically although they couldn't tell me exactly what for some reason it seems that it would cost basically the price of a new laptop to get it fixed.

Hopefully I'll be able to buy a new one within a week, I have my laptop back now though so I might try and hook it up to the t.v and do a bit of an update tomorrow although as I can't see anything I'm not sure how hard this will be.

With any luck I'll have a new laptop within a week and I can get back to it properly.

Alright guys I managed to hook my laptop up to the t'v so theres an update coming up now. I'll be working tomorrow so I won't be able to do anything then but if I get a chance on Tuesday I'll do another. Hopefully I'll have a new laptop soon and I can keep it going regularly.

Adam Roberts

Roberts had another solid season for Shrewsbury, although he was out for 4 months at the start of the season with a torn calf muscle he came back well and in 25 games he scored 7 goals and assisted an additional 7. However despite his strong form Shrewsbury could only manage another mid table finish, and with teams such as Tottenham and Preston reportedly showing an interest it is unlikely he will be in League 2 for much longer.

Ally McLeod

McLeod gained some well needed 1st team experience with Carlisle in the second half of the season making 15 appearances. Chelsea seem set to offer him out on loan again next season although at the moment his destination is unclear.

Archer

Archer spent the whole season at Chelsea although he only managed to make two appearances in the cup, scoring once. He was a stand out player in the academy and reserve teams though with 10 goals and 17 assists in 30 appearances. Chelsea seem to have plans to send Archer out on loan next season to help him continue his development.

Big Red

Big Red didn't manage to make any appearances for the first team he had an impressive scoring rate in the reserves and academy, with 10 goals in 10 games. He seems another player who is likely to be sent out on loan next season in order to help his development as he is isn't seen as ready for the first team.

Bravo-Hamish Yorke

Bravo-Hamish Yorke made a steady start to his Ipswich career over the past season. With 13 games for the first team he gained some important experience in the Championship. He will hope to gain a regular place next year, although Tottenham are reportedly showing slight interest in taking him up to the Premiership if the price is right.

Brian Goo

Goo followed up his impressive debut season at Bournemouth with an equally impressive second one. Goo scored 17 goals in 34 games which helped Bournemouth to a 4th place finish in the league. However a loss to MK Dons in the play-off final could ensure that Bournemouth will be unable to hold onto their rising star with Tottenham and Aston Villa reportedly showing an interest.

Brownaldinho

Brownaldinho still has yet to complete his move to his club although he will do so in November of this year.

Chunky Monkey

Chunky Monkey was involved in a rotation scheme in QPR's midfield in the past season. He made 31 first team appearances in all and his form has been enough to alert Tottenham and Bolton to his talents.

Cinaldinho

Cinaldinho only managed one sole appearance for Bolton in the league in the past season along with an additional two in cup competitions. However it seems next season he is in their plans as he is not currently listed for loan.

Crustinho

Crustinho managed to make 6 appearances for Fluminense at the start of the season, getting 4 assists, 3 man of the match awards and an average rating of 8.13. However for some reason he was still loaned out to Goias where so far he has made 2 appearances with 2 assists.

cnuty McFlange

cnuty scored 13 goals in 41 games for Leeds gaining some valuable first team experience in the process. As of yet there is no indication as to whether Aston Villa intend to send him on loan next season or involve him in their first team plans.

Elias Gilliard

Elias Gillard went straight into the Toulouse first team and impressed in his 14 appearances, scoring 4 and assisting 3 goals. He seems content to stay there for the foreseeable future.

Jay Vin

Jay Vin hasn't found the MLS as easy as the English lower divisions however he has performed steadily in his 9 performances, scoring once. He has also made his international debut for Australia which came against Bahrain in May.

Jon Miller

Jon Miller has finally joined Ayr and now awaits his first club appearance.

Jonny Tekkerz

Jonny Tekkerz helped Southampton to a solid mid table finish in their first season back in the Championship. He made 31 appearances in the league creating 6 goals. With no interest in him at the moment is is quite likely that Southampton will be able to hold onto the new "Gazza" for at least one more season.

Karan Mittal

Mittal enjoyed another impressive season for Cardiff gaining a regualr starting place in the team. In 34 league appearances he managed 3 assists which has drawn interest from teams including Wes Brom and Hibernian.

Makki Z

Makki Z made just 6 first team appearances in his first season with Auxerre after his move from Macclesfield. Le Harve and Aachen are both said to be interested in Makki with a loan more likely than a full transfer at this time.

Markus Elstob

Elstob enjoyed a much better second season with Harrogate, winning the Blue Square North and therefore gaining promotion to the conference. Elstob himself conceded 30 goals in 34 games with 12 clean sheets. His performances are said to have attracted some interest with Hibernian said to be considering a move.

Mighty Boosh

Mighty Boosh made 16 appearances for St. Pauli as they unfortunately came bottom of the German First Division. This will likely mean that they will be unable to hold onto Boosh for any longer with Arsenal currently showing and interest and United previously having bids rejected for the full-back.

Niall Swan

Swan made 22 appearances for Falkirk, scoring 3 goals and assisting 5 in an impressive first season for Falkirk. It is quite likely it will end up being his only season there as their is significant interest from a host of Premier League teams including Arsenal, Bolton and West Ham among others.

Nimicinho

Nimicinho will likely be frustrated he didn't appear more for Sevilla during his first season in Spain. Despite scoring 5 goals in 7 games in the league and 3 in 4 in cup competitions he failed to get regular games. He is currently unhappy at being fined by the clubs hierarchy and is said to be looking to leave the club. However it remains to be seen whether Sevilla are prepared to sell.

Zarlak

Zarlak managed to play more games for PSG in the past season and used the opportunities to good effect. In 21 games overall he managed 4 goals and 2 assists. He has listed for loan next season by the club and should the correct offer come in it is likely he will move in order to further his development with regular first team action.

Wow, just noticed this was back! Great job, mate :)

I knew it would make for a good game to have the most controversial stats possible

Anyone want to challenge me for most transfers?

Ah good update mate.

So after being very close to moving to Manchester United, I'm now being courted by the likes of Hibernian and WBA :(

International duty? Who am I playing for?

Never going to get into the Spurs first team, so I'd rather I moved to Preston.

Awesome update.

Glad Brian's doing well. Hope he doesn't move to Spurs, Villa would be better imo.

Another season in Bournemouth's first team though, build his stats up :D

Nice update, hopefully I make the jump up to senior level or get a loan.

Just simmed past the summer transfer window now so I'll update what went on during that in a minute. Then I'll try and do the same till the end of the January window but I'm working early tomorrow so I definitely won't get any further than that. Off for two days after that though so hopefully I'll get a season or two done.

So heres all the transfer new from the window first:

Jonny Tekkerz: Bristol city - 4.2 million plus future incentives
(Bristol City are in the championship after being relegated last season but are second favourites for the championship title)

Niall Swan: Arsenal - 1.1 million (rejects Blackburn)

Markus Elstob: Hamilton - 275k (rejected Shamrock Rovers earlier in window)

Adam Roberts: Tottenham - 575k (listed for loan but is in the reserves at the moment)

Brian Goo: Leeds - 1.9 million (Leeds are still in the Championship)

Chunky Monkey: Manchester United - 2.5 million (Listed for loan but in reserves at the moment)

Karan Mittal: Wolves - 3.9 million

Mighty Boosh: Manchester United - 2.7 million

Big Red: Sheffield United - Loan

Archer: Rangers - Loan

MacLeod: Southampton - Loan (rejected Barnsley)

In other transfer news Makki Z rejects Nantes after a 1.7 million bid was accepted by his club.

Jon Miller is already out of contract after just joining Ayr and has turned down numerous offers of a new contract. It looks likely that he will be moving on sooner rather than later.

Zarlak has also rejected PSG's latest contract offer and has just one year left to run on his current deal.

Now a quick update on the players who play in leagues which were ongoing during the summer period.

Crustinho is playing an important role on loan at Goias. He has 18 starts and 6 assists and is one of the few players of quality currently keeping Goias just out of the relegation zone in 16th place.

Jay Vin is already becoming a fans favourite over in New York. In 19 appearances he has 4 goals and 10 assists.

I think I got everything but if I notice I missed out anything important I'll let you know.

What league are Sheffield United in the game Heffo?

Championship. In the middle of simming now but from what I can remember you were starting and they were in the top half after the first 3 games.

League 2 to Premiership is pretty good. Hope I get a loan though, because I've no chance of getting much games at either left wing or centre mid.

Leeds??!

LEEDS??!?!

Oh well, 1.9 mill's not bad! Off to the prem next summer.
