New Fantasy Draft

Yeah Walrus I had the same strategy, I stopped short of lining Mancienne in an all PL all English Backline of:

Gibbs---Smalling-----Mancienne---Gosling

But decided to go for a player on my list who had just been linked to the club. It wasn't because I didn't know anyone outside the PL but understood the audience. Defenders are the least recognised young players in the world.

Well i can admit that I might a little over-hyped him before revealing his name. But for the last pick he really is amazing. And it is very surprising he wasnt picked before. He only established himself to a general public this season being on loan. But so did Welbeck who was picked by 4th pick.
 
You said he would be rated higher on here than Welbeck. Have to say I disagree with that, if thats the case why did you pick Albrighton first as a winger?

Welbeck (the winger) > Albrighton. So surely by your logic Holtby > Albrighton.

Albrighton was never my choice. I am just an assistant. Albrighton was sole PS choice. as he thought going for well known EPL player gains you points.

I dont remember if at that time i offered the gaffer any alternatives, but never vouched for selecting Albrington. And i consider him one of the weak links on the team

guess pity he wont be playing in this summer u21 cup. would have been a great stage form him establish himself world wide.

by the way checked some not yet deleted PMs with PS. at the time of Albrington selection, i was suggesting Renato Augusto. who was unfortunately picked couple of picks earlier.

Even England media talked tons about him. After his first few MOM awards for Mainz. He was all over the media telling Fabio Capello not to miss on potential superstar as he was eligible for england call up.

And by the way he can be as deep laying forward to change formation to 442. If PS wanted.

I picked him due to his strength. The white Heskey.

To be fair, chris wood often turns out to be a beast on most of my fm games.

But then so does veloso.

It's not Makelele and Matthaus, but Henderson and Muamba can both play a bit and are both capable of sticking their foot in. No problems there. ;)
 
Two very good final XIs so far.

Cling has an excellent team IMO, will be close to the Final, if not the winner depending on who he subs in each round.

Yeah it looks nice, but can you explain what the differences in the solid lines and the separated lines mean?

That's what's confusing me.
 
i assume its running with ball and without ball.

Unnecessary in my opinion. Sanchez will run with the ball from anywhere.

Any why is walker overlapping inside sanchez??? if anything sanchez will cut inside and drift across the forward line. Walker will be required to provide width.
