He has not played since November has he because of a pretty bad injury and he is only starting to regain full fitness... at his best he is a great CB and would be a leader for any defence but certainly ours - cant see anybody making a bid until he has showed he is fully recovered from injury thoughKlopps preferred centre-back pairing this season so far has been Matthias Ginter and Mats Hummels. Subotic has been on the bench.....wouldn't be a bad option at all if Dortmund were willing to sell
Has Hummels played a game this season? I'm pretty sure so far both Hummels and Subotic haven't played yet and Ginter is probably needed at the moment as a back-up in midfield. Don't think you can draw any conclusions about Klopp's preferences in defense yet. Sokratis has been brilliant though, it's not impossible that Subotic will be the first back up this year, really depends how he recovers from his injury.Klopps preferred centre-back pairing this season so far has been Matthias Ginter and Mats Hummels. I was just thinking would Subotic be a good addition instead of Hummels?

Just read that Dortmund are in advanced negotiations with us for an offer to get Kagawa back to Germany in the region of €10m + extras … I personally do not think we should move him on as we'll need him in the long run but if he's going then I'd like to think that he's being used as part of a deal to ressurect our interest in Hummels (I know it's not gonna happen) but perhaps it's Subotic. That wouldn't be too shabby really as the way I see it he's more Vidic to Hummels Ferdinand.I was just thinking would Subotic be a good addition instead of Hummels?

Subotic is experienced and a good defender.
