miami getting put in their place - live on abc
Horrible. 2nd half still to go.
neutral site games are bullshit. can you imagine auburn at washington? or washington at jordan hare? think of the atmosphere of true home games. or miami in death valley? or lsu in...well, forget that one. why are 2 schools that are 500+ miles east of dallas playing there?
I honestly don't know why they are playing in Dallas. Seems a bit strange.

LSU has some of the most simple pass concepts you could possibly run... but they always run routes so freaking well that they find open space.

I watched last night's Bama game and they looked fantastic.....especially with the Hawaiian kid at QB full time now.

Louisville were decent. Bama's execution was just on a world class level. They are going to be the team to beat with the new QB. He's way better than Hurts.

Miami’s OL has been exposed bad tonight.
I think it’s because neither team wants a potentially bigger disadvantage playing in the home stadium of a high profile team while their contemporaries play minnow teams at home. I don’t like it either but you know how sports in this country can be.
After what he did in the NC and as a true freshman, there was no way he wouldn’t start. He’s easily better than Hurts. The pocket awareness is incredible for any QB in college let alone one of his age. Also, he’s Samoan btw
Big paycheck for the programs would be my guess.

The contrast between Tua and Hurst is massive. Since day one I have had an issue with Hurst, he is a play maker with ball in his hands but is he a QB at the next level?
Hurst was mediocre at best and was generally carried along by the quality surrounding him. Its genuinely hard to fail when you're surrounded by 4 and 5 star recruits across the board. Tua is a proper dual threat QB. He has can pass and has almost Michael Vick like scrambling ability.

I meant to say he's from the state of Hawaii. Bama now apparently also have a commitment from his younger brother as well.
I wouldn't even call Tua a dual threat QB the kid throws with anticipation, you have NFL QBs that don't even dream about making some of the throws he has attempted and completed in his short college career. And of course he happens to be a pretty good athlete that can scramble.
That whole family is in love with Tuscaloosa and vice versa. Fun fact, his younger brother was QB at the high school I was set to go to before moving to Florida.

It’s more like the Bundesliga. Saban’s Alabama is 50-6 against the SEC since Meyer left Florida.

Nah not at all. I am a Notre Dame fan but remember I lived in Tennessee for a decade. I think the rest of the SEC is waiting for Saban to retire unfortunately for them Swinney would most likely take over.
Saban retiring will be good for the health of the SEC... unless Bama lures Dabo away. If that happens, then it will be more of the same. And it isn’t even that Dabo is a great X’s and O’s Coach. He surrounds himself with those guys as assistants, then puts on the best recruiting show I’ve ever seen.
