NBA Yahoo Fantasy League 2011-2012

The Draft is this Sunday, 18th of December. Its at:

7 am PST - Los Angeles
10 am EST - New York
3 pm GMT - London
8pm - Kuwait
2 am - Australia

Do not forget about it lads!

I've done it, felt like a bit of a cock when everyone else named their team after themselves but yeah The Dream Team will go 82-0.
 
Can someone kick my misspelt username from the league? I can't even remember the email I used for that account.
 
Why does he get to have a cool name for his team, but I don't? :mad:

My team was the MIAMI HEAT! before a dictator of an owner has forced some "rules" on us..

I won't play. This is unacceptable! We demand a new fair agreement!

Should have clarified. I had two team in the league, one called "Nanderson" (the correct team) and one called "Nnderson" (incorrect one). You deleted my proper team :angel:

I've registered again, could you get rid of my misspelled team (ie. Nnderson)? Thanks!
 
Does anyone have a friend who wants to play in this league? All my friends are already in two to three leagues and they don't want to join another one.
 
BTW, will this be a standard draft or an auction draft? I think the latter makes it more interesting!
 
I could create a another draft for the auction one if you guys are willing to do that too.
 
The problem with having an odd number of players is that the system won't let us draft until we get one more.
 
I have a question, does this league end with the playoffs or the regular season? Do we need to have players on playoff teams to have any chance of winning?

No. I think the last three weeks of regular season will be our playoffs to see who wins because 6 out of the 10 teams make the playoffs.

Players Stat Categories: Field Goal Percentage (FG%), Free Throw Percentage (FT%), 3-point Shots Made (3PTM), Points Scored (PTS), Total Rebounds (REB), Assists (AST), Steals (ST), Blocked Shots (BLK), Turnovers (TO)

There is a playoff, so take that into consideration, whether your players will still be in competition to score you points at the end, i.e. is on a playoff team.
 
Arggggh not sure if I can make the draft tomorrow, might be best for me drop out, sorry for the late notice, something came up.

No. You got it wrong. You don't have to worry about picking players from a playoff team. Lets say regular season ends March 31 and playoffs start April 1st. For fantasy, playoffs would be from March 10 to March 31. Fantasy will end even before the real playoffs start.
 
I am not going to have time during the week which will work for anyone because I have to work. So if Armchair can't work, I will just delete his team and get my friend to join or GD you can ask your friend if she wants to play.

But I have to say something Armchair. You don't have to be there for the draft. It auto-picks for you depending on the ranking given by Yahoo. So you will be fine and you can just check your team after the draft is over and set your lineup for the week of Christmas. Are you willing to do that?

Just don't delete your team.

The draft is in 13 hours. You can't log into the live draft until there is 30 minutes left. So don't panic. I will be online here and on Yahoo. So once you log onto the draft, if you have any questions let me know.

Can I automate my picks so that it does it for me while I'm not online, yes?
 
Yes you can. You can either edit the rankings there to your liking or just leave it as it is and it picks it for you depending on the rankings given by Yahoo. If someone picks a players and its your turn, then autopick just picks the next best ranked player.
 
I think there is an option for me to customize draft order and customize draft picks. Do you guys want me to do that or do all of you just want to surprised with your draft order?
