Good deal if you can get it. Ratliff was blocking Ming all over th place when we played them.

I'm gonna have a bet tonight. They're offering +4.5 on Portland and + 2.5 on the Knicks.

you should add us to that bet

you think you might sneak a win tonight?

Actually they haven't laid odds on you guys at ukbetting(the place I use).

I was looking at the stats and Dallas' away record is similar to our home record, except they are averaging over 100 and we are a lousy 94. They only have our spread at -4.5 I think.

All that being said, if we can nail our jump shots and Ming can play well, we can definitely hang with them.

I'm actually geting +1.5 points with Phoenix. So I've done a double with them and NJ. Another double Knicks/Jailblazers.

And we creamed you! Niiiiiiiiiiice. Good prediction up there by someone - everytime I predict us to lose we pull off a big win. So I shall continue..... ;) Ruddy, you sure your boys are best in the east still ;)
That's me out of this thread for the day as I wanna watch the Lakers game tonight without knowing the score.

Yeah, piss poor second half by us.

No winning bets to save the day either. Portland and Phoenix let me down big time. Great way to start the day!

Shite eh Ruddy??

by the way a fully fit on form sixers team is the best in the east

and from what larry is saying he might be off

looks like theo is on his way back

This is the time of the season when trade rumors begin to swirl, and one of the early ones has the Sixers bringing back Ratliff in an effort to recapture the magic they had 2 years ago.

"It's always a possibility,"

Ratliff said of a return to the Sixers. "I hear the rumors, this and that. But it's something I can't really dwell on. I just do what I do, and go where I'm told. That's the way everything works

"That's something you'd never know until it happens," Ratliff said when asked if he and the Sixers could recapture the magic. "[The Sixers] still have a certain personality and a style of play. Teams change, but it could always happen again.

come home theo we need you

:)

Excited?

Too good for the Champs? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

He would be a good move, we need a scoring PF to take some focus off the big two else, or a decent point.

Miami @ Philadelphia

Minnesota @ Houston

L.A. Lakers @ Sacramento <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Derrick Coleman - Former all star power forward.

Uh huh - well there's a few trade rumours going around - the one Jens mentioned for example. Anyway, if you rate him as highly as you rate Nash then he'll do eh?

He doesn't seem the player he was always hyped up to be when he played for NJ with Kenny Anderson, but I don't know what your need for a power forward is? Who plays there now?

Man, you're gonna make me learn this sport properly aren't you?? Gimme some time - I need to trawl through a Mavs board and start understanding a bit more about this game!

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Is Dirk a PF? Coleman could be a good trade, he certainly can do a job.

Unless the Mavs get a Kevin Garnett type, I don't think they should tinker with what they'e got. And certainly not far a waster like DC.

The Mavs are miles over the cap, but it doesn't matter because billionaire Mark Cuban will pay whatever luxury tax they incur.

It does seem weird that a team playing so well would want to trade players.

I remember Coleman being hyped as the future best PF in the league, what happened to him?

crap work ethic & injuries I think. Not sure really.

Reminds me of Shawn kemp. He was awesome in Seattle. Now he's a right bloater.

A few years ago Kemp was my fav player, he had it all, and dominated the highlight films for months, I remember all his great plays, including a mad coast to coast break and massive slam vs the Lakers, he and Payton formed a hell of a partnership but it all went wrong for him.

It was a big loss when he fecked up.

Dunno when it started, but it came to light when he was in Portland.

i know what you say about DC and i feel the same

but just look at his stats

looks like brown is on the edge, but then he is every season

theo and spree please

Atlanta could be quite busy. Seems everyone is up for grabs there.

lakers were interested in Jason Terry but they don't really have anyone to offer in return outside of Shaq/Kobe.

Spree?? No way, thats just you being hopefull isn't it?

Really? that would be a good trade, they need a decent point, but like you say they don't have much up for grabs.
