NBA 2023-2024

That's a insulting to the Spurs who are a decent club. For a long time the Clippers were the worst franchise in the NBA and in spite of Lob City or the recent "successful" seasons, they have the second worst all time record.
Just in the sense of Spurs gonna Spurs and Clippers gonna Clippers.

Anyway if the lose the series and they probably will what next for them?

I get why you made that comparison, the issue is that the Clippers are an historically bad franchise. The Spurs of the NBA would probably be the Jazz or the Suns both are top end franchises that fails to win when it matters, you could also consider the Blazers, Thunders who won a long time ago but have the habit to fail when they are the top which has been regular.

But the Clippers are historically trash.

this has nothing to do with clippers curse, are we really surprised a team that counts on harden and westbrook fails in a playoff?

I know Doc has had some injury problems with this Bucks team, but damn 30-13 with Griffin, to 17-19 with Rivers and then a 1st round exit in the playoffs.

Almost but not quite. Great series and amazing play by Brunson. Philly got killed by the three Villanova boys

That Pat Beverly stuff with the ESPN reporter was really stupid.

Also obligatory feck Embiid

Not great. Rivers is irritating as feck though, so it’s all good

Ham out as Lakers coach.

LeBron right now:

Pretty disgraceful to fire a coach that just won the prestigious in-season tournament.

No, no. Have you not understood how things work in LBJ land. LeBron gets the credit for winning the in-season tournament, Ham gets the blame for everything else.

EDIT:Sorry "prestigious" in-season tournament.

Give it to Becky Hammon and get some good assistants around her. She would do a good job.
As long as James is there, it's a "poison chalice." Under those circumstances, if I was a coach, I wouldn't go anywhere near that job.

I need Nuggets v Wolves to go 7 as I will be in Estes Park on 19 May when the game would be played and would definitely try to travel for the game.

Otherwise, need Nuggets to win and play Mavs in Conference finals as that would give me an outside chance of seeing game 1 or 2 in Denver.

Me and Missus Tool did a wolf encounter experience today, where we got to meet a pack of timberwolves. Generally got drooled on, climbed on and howled at by 4 beautiful wolves.

As well as it being an amazing experience, it’s clearly a sign that the T-wolves are going to get it done tonight

Still decent money and living in LA

I don't get this, what's the only of 'living' in LA, or any city in the NBA, when you're constantly traveling during the season. In the off season all these players have enough money to have a second home in LA/Miami anyways.

It's not the same as football where you have training at your home ground and only travel for matches, which can be once a week.

Still a long way to go, but the Wolves are looking good.

I find the recent hype around Edwards strange with its suddenness. Media seems to go 0% or 100% with very little in-between.

Was half-joking about LA btw. But I do think there are much better places to visit or live.

Denver is in problem. The Wolves are also full of confidence now. To be fair, although it is far away, the prospect of Celtics - Wolves final is from basketball point of view also very exciting. Probably the best game I saw during regular season.

The media works that way. They will go into extremes. The reason I pretty much love JJ Reddick stuff as he doesn't go into hyperbole while discussing games/players.

The US media also need a new American star which is why Tatum is so hyped (agree with elmo that he is somewhat overrated in the sense as he isn't so consistent). To be fair Edwards ceiling looks higher because it is quite scary when he plays like this. Almost impossible to stop from midrange and he creates his own space much better than Tatum for example both for shooting or driving to the basket.

He's turning into Michael Jordan before our eyes, I get the media frenzy

The issue for me as a Wolves fan is how easily he has been overlooked and then out of nowhere since the dunk on John Collins he is MJ 2.0. The thing is Ant worked on his game and has improved continuously.

It gives the impression that it's a sudden elevation of Edwards when it's not. Also now they go too far with their ratings, while Ant is a playoff and big game raiser, the likes of Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Doncic or even Lebron are better players, the one thing that makes him special is the fact that he is only 22 and he wants to be a genuine two-way elite player.

I said it in his second season that his game resembles Michael so much, not just his jump shots and highlight reels but also that killer instinct Mike said.

That said, it was just at aesthetics the likeness ended, I did not think he would elevate his game to this level. Hell, he didn't show it consistently in the regular season as well. The kid is just on a remarkable role right now.

It's what they say though, living in LA is something many of them aspire to

He's an excellent teammate by everything recounted so far too.
