It felt true at 3-1 down and it is even more true now, I see no way Warriors are getting knocked out here and even a very tiny chance that they don’t win the whole thing. They will always find a way. Maybe it’s part of me being resigned to them winning it yet again but I just don’t see them not.

You see "no way" the Lakers win one of the two remaining games? I'd make sure to put some money on the Warriors progressing in that case

It’s still pretty low for a team 3-2 down in the second round of playoffs though, isn’t it? Much lower than Heat who are about to progress to ECF and also significantly lower than Phoenix who are in pretty much the same situation.
The next game is crucial. Honestly speaking I think it’s 50/50 but if Warriors win here there is almost no way they lose G7 at home. As I said this feels exactly like the Thunder series, even the pattern of the series is identical with the only difference being G4 (Thunder blew them out then, Lakers won a close game). G1 was a close win to both Thunder/Lakers, then two blowout wins for home teams to get it to 2-1 and then a blowout in San Francisco to make it 3-2. Let’s see if G7 follows the same pattern as that series, though that game was absolutely ridiculous and still feels hard to believe OKC lost it.
Realistically having followed both series it also feels unlikely to me that Warriors would beat Nuggets in a possible WCF (much less so to see them beat Suns), however as I said I’m always prepared to see them find a way because that is what they do.
Yes and no, they were pre-series favourites, so they should probably have more than 25% chance of advancing. Basicly the market is giving them some like this: (first game we know) game 6 44%, game 7 70%, ECF 48%, F 53%. One can break down the last three in other ways as well but that's probably close enough.
The Dubs opened up at +450 which was the favorites. As of this morning the Nuggets were +290, the Sixers +300, the Celtics +400, the Lakers +500 and the Dubs +800. The Suns were +1,200 and the Heat and Knicks were the two outsiders at +1,800 and +5,000 respectively.
I would have them lower than that for ECF if against Nuggets but probably higher vs Suns, and Finals higher than that vs Heat but lose vs Sixers/Celtics so makes sense.
Heat are somewhat underrated IMO. I could really see them beating Sixers or Celtics and then it will be down to like +200. They should take care of business vs Knicks in the next game.

I have got the bestest of trades, picks would be involved but I don't know how:
Celtics: get Siakam
Raptors:get Towns and Anderson
Blazers: get Jaylen Brown
Wolves: get Anunoby and Simons
The Lakers are saying that Davis did not suffer a concussion. If he suffers a setback and is subsequently diagnosed to have done so the league's protocol is as follows:
Several steps of increasing exertion from a stationary bike to jogging to agility work to non contact team drills.
With each step a focused neurogical examination is performed. A player must be symptom free to move to the next step. If he is not symptom free, the player stops until he is and then begins again with the last step he completed.
There is no time limit on these steps.
Would the Wolves want to do a straight swap considering what assets they gave up to get Gobert in the first place?
From a Dubs point of view, Gobert is 31 in June so the remaining 4 years on his deal takes him through age 35. He is also another offensive zero, so along with Draymond (despite last night) and Loon that is a lot of players on the roster who would get high minutes who give you very little on the offensive end points wise. Klay already appears to be in decline so the focus on Steph would be even greater and he, himself is already 35. If it were to be considered I think the Dubs roster would require a massive overhaul (this may happen anyway). Personally I think it unlikely.
It's a fantasy trade but I wanted your opinion because it didn't make much sense to me.
I know many people don't follow the Wolves and don't really know the roster. This season Gobert was good and provided the things that you would expect, namely defensive rebounding and rim protection, he also was decent offensively after the Conley trade but there is a big issue that the Wolves likely didn't anticipate and that also include KAT, Garza, Naz Reid and Minott developed. Without Gobert rebounding would still be an issue but they don't actually need either of them, I won't say it too loudly but the reason the trade or even KAT extensions become bad every passing day is because the Wolves had the players in their roster. In hindsight last summer the correct move was to trade KAT, Vanderbilt, Beasley and Russell.
So I don't know if they will but they could forget the assets lost in that trade and focus on players, especially since they have depth, if you trade Gobert for a useful player and trade KAT to get a 3 and D forward, then the team should be better and more in line with Edwards. But I suspect that egos may play a part and Connelly will run it back with KAT's injury as an excuse.

These things are actually serious, it's like Jaden McDaniels being "snubbed" for the all defensive teams. The NBA linked these awards to the type of contracts you can get and the difference is dozens to hundreds of millions. These voters need to be honest, they are playing with other people's money.
Jackson did claim it was an honest mistake, but like you say it does come across as a "dog ate my homework" type of screw up. He was on Sirius radio this afternoon and he tried to say that it was a mix up between the MVP ballot and all NBA 1st team because his ballot had one center (Embiid), two forwards (Giannis, Tatum) and two guards (SGA, Mitchell).
What is it with Tatum and starting games completely ice cold offensively. He’s 0/8 FG and 0/3 from 3 so far. He’s started the last couple of games this series exactly like this.
