NBA 2022-2023

His defense complements Trae Young's lack of defense. I think it's a pretty decent pairing. Not enough to push Atlanta any further than a 2nd round playoff-exit but it's something I guess.

They'll likely be mediocre picks, but I'm not sure I want a guard who can't shoot the 3.

You never know with a team like Atlanta. Not like they’re really top tier. 3 picks is a good haul for a player that isn’t taking Spurs to the next level.

He’s good but is he worth 3 FRPs?

Easily. Looking at Atlanta’s young team those picks will be at best in 15-20 range and you are very unlikely to draft a player as good as Dejounte there, even in 3 attempts. He’s great.

Clear indication that Spurs are going to tank for Wembenyama now. Their roster is so young and inexperienced that I can’t see them going over 25 wins.

Nets have appeared as a strong possibility for Ayton, though they are rumored to be offering Claxton, Harris and Thomas and I don’t think they can actually offer anything in form of picks having done the Harden deal with Houston before (they may offer the Sixers pick they got but that is distant future).

On paper Simmons, Irving, Durant and Ayton looks impressive but when you consider how unreliable they are I would still not expect them to go far.

Miles Bridges has just been arrested over domestic violence literally hours before potentially being offered a $30m a year contract. He's probably still going to get that money but wow.

First the picture where he showed off a joint and what looked like a cup of lean, now this. What a vile moron.

KD, Irving and Simmons combined are already making over the cap, there's no way the Nets can trade for Ayton without adding one of them into the trade.

Wow. I guess he will want a place where it’s easier for him to win the championship so it can really be Warriors, Heat or Suns. Sean Marks is apparently working with him to find a trade so it doesn’t look like they will try to stop him.

according to chris hayes it is the suns

Can someone tell us how Kyrie is handling this one?

Ayton for Durant happening within the next hours?

These two weirdos are just taking a piss it seems, poisoning shit all around

KD is one of the pettiest people ever.

I literally won’t be surprised if he goes back to Warriors.

If Suns give up Booker I don't think KD and CP3 can do it.

The Suns aren't giving up Booker   , it's gonna be a package of Ayton (or assets from 3rd team to acquire Ayton), Bridges and/or Cam Johnson, multiple first round picks, and expiring contracts (Crowder, Saric, etc.). Still better than any other package that BKN can get from a non-Eastern conference team. The only player they may be able to get that is outright better than the above ones is Jaylen Brown, although I rate Mikal Bridges very highly, but I doubt the Nets would want to send KD to Boston.

If both of them switch to West, how big of a power shift that would be, seems right now is more or less balanced, at least looks to me, just injuries fecking things up.

Brooklyn wont want Bridge or Cam or Ayrton for KD. Also do Suns have first round picks?
