NBA 2021-2022

Its not one-sided. they played 2 homes games so I expect Nets win the next home game.

I guess. But I was always confident that Boston would win the game yesterday, even when they were down. We'll see what happens but I think Boston wins it 4-1.

Ever since they showed KAT on the big screen talking about 'we're in Minnesota now, this is our house' t-wolves have forgotten how to shoot

They've remembered again alright. They're flying now.

Wow 21-0 run by Memphis to tie the game. T-wolves have fallen asleep at the wheel again. How do you give up a 20+ point lead twice in the same game?

That is one of the worst capitulations I have ever seen. Congrats to the Grizz, but the Wolves should be ashamed.

Gave up a 26 point lead in the first half and a 25 point lead going into the 4th. That's fecking embarrassing. Awful composure.

Warriors have a 3rd Splash Brother in Jordan Poole. Been very impressive. And Draymond just runs the team, such an unsung player to many but not his teammates.

That you are. Great win today. Looks like the Warriors will come out of the West
A long way to go and a lot of games to win but that was a huge game to win! Denver brought a lot more tonight but delighted to see us dig it out (despite the missed FTs!). That last steal from Draymond :drool::drool:

Thanks, appreciate it. Not sure about winning the West though although I do think tonight's win has sown up this series.

Thought we'd blown it with the poor 3rd quarter though.

Will Barton taking over, making that shot while Klay was on Jokic haha, this whole shit is on Jokic, i understand its being tough out there battling alone but trying to force this team basketball with feckers like Barton is just plain dumb.

The team that lost Kevin Durant in free agency and basically wasted the #2 pick in a draft is likely going to win another championship.

How ridiculous would they be if they had used that second pick on LaMelo, or even better had Edwards slip to them?

The kind of cnut we hate but would love if he was in our team

With the Booker news, think you lot are favourites now

Tbf, we all knew if Klay came back strong from his long layoff, they would be thereabouts.

Not that we didn't know but three of the last 4 games are why the Wolves need to find a way to get a scoring big this offseason. There are moments where you need to bench KAT for an entire quarter and they can't do that with the current roster. He gets in foul trouble every other games and let every calls hurt his feelings.

Of course, I know the team weaknesses. This isn't a deep run team, yet.
Yeah true, think you were considered a lottery team by a lot of people before the start of the season. Still though, this would have been an excellent opportunity to seize control of the series.

Agree with your post above about adding a big guy who can at least give KAT some periods of rest.

These people were dimwits, the Wolves weren't a lottery team at the start of the season and they weren't even a lottery team last season, it was the product of injuries. But the Wolves have glaring issues that can be exploited particularly during the playoffs, it's not a good rebounding team, their best player is emotionally immature and can be wummed out of games and they lack a big that can rebound and score 15 points in 20-ish minutes. They imperatively need guys like Nance or Collins.

You could have got Nance from us and Cronin would have given you 2022 unprotected first for taking him, most likely!

I believe that I complained about it when the trade was announced. After being linked with him for a couple of years the Wolves didn't land him twice and both times the price was more than acceptable. On paper he is the perfect fit.

Now, I don't want to sound like I'm drinking some purple cool-aid, these embarrassing games expose the idea that the Wolves have to take an important decision when it comes to roster construction, both KAT and D-Lo will have to be extended, traded or let go in the next 24 months.

I believe that Edwards is the near future of this franchise, so I will totally understand if the Wolves swap the two current max contracts for assets that would be a better fit around Edwards, McDaniels, Vanderbilt and Nowell. But I don't know how lucrative the market can be for D-Lo and KAT.

Jalen fecking Brunson, what a stud. I hope the Mavs pay the man whatever he wants.

KAT is such an oddity. How is it even possible that a player like him only takes 4 shots in a huge playoff game?

Sometimes he messes up, he tries to be "team oriented" as if the team didn't need shot attempts from one of the best shooters in the league. He has done that several times this season.

The injuries have really opened up the championship this year , feels like it’s anyone’s ring at the moment. Hindsight is always 20/20 but I wonder if the suns would regret going a bit too hard in the regular season now

Said few pages back, KAT seems such a weird cookie, even when he plays with a chip on his shoulder, those chips are weird too.

Sixers v Celtics would be the dream ECF.

Suns v Grizzlies would be the dream WCF.

It'll be Sixers vs Bucks and Suns vs Warriors.

Bucks to beat the Suns in the finals again.
