NBA 2016-17

Harden is getting double teamed and he is spreading the ball nicely, not wise to double team the guy with the highest assists number in the league.

Rate the league's top 5/10 PG's and top 5/10 SG's
This is tough, because Harden currently playing PG which makes the PG position so deep, Harden and Westbrook def have been best two players in the league, then you have Curry who will catch up pretty soon I think, and CP3, John Wall right after, Lowry and Irving also have been pretty good.

 That was one crazy fourth quarter. OKC's last play being a nasty, nasty dunk by Westbrook which proved to be the winning margin. No need of passing the ball to anyone! Credit to Oladipo, some really important shots there. 15-0 run in the end, great turnaround.

Aye Thunder are still in this just because Harden is having an off night.
They did a pretty good job on him to be honest.

Still he usually deal with it better, not the first time he gets double teamed.

I love the matchups between the Clippers and Grizzlies. One of those rivalries where form goes out of the window, along with any love between Randolph and Griffin.

We just won against the Clippers and I got work in 6 hrs and feck sleep cause adrenaline and feck DeAndre

Good game that. Conley was something else. Also, impressed how you sustained Clippers' late comeback.

Great win for you guys. I stayed up till half time to watch and then called it a night. Wasn't sure you would hold on. Congrats.

Yeah they were always going to get back into the game, plus our young guys started to turn the ball over, plus I lost count of how many times JJ Redick was left open to shoot a 3. Our vets iced the game out though.

BTW Philadelphia are probably no longer the worst team in NBA, Washington look like they've surpassed the level of shitness they present. It's brutal how bad they are. Heat look poor too, 2-8 now but with the lack of talent (aside from Whiteside, Richardson and Winslow they have nothing to build on really, I like Dragic but he's not a top point guard) they will probably be better off with a top 10 pick. Race to no. 1 seeding in lottery will be between Philadelphia, Miami, Sacramento (if they trade Cousins and Gay as predicted, but their pick goes to Philadelphia if it's higher too) and Dallas. Phoenix will probably still win around 23-25 games and do just about enough to come around 5th. Lakers have been impressive so far which probably means that their pick goes to Philadelphia this time (it's only top 3 protected).

Rockets did not score for the last 6 minutes aside from the last shot of the game, quite remarkable.

Looking at next year's draft prospects, 76ers don't need to trade for a point guard at all this year. 5 out of top 10 prospects are PG and they will likely have two top 10 picks. Could be a turning point for them. If they could somehow transform Okafor into a competent power forward and trade Noel for a shooting guard, that will be some fecking team in a few years.

Will Simmons settle in as a SF or a PF?

Kicks trailing by 25 and it's not even 3qt... Why are they so poor?

The transformation of Harden is remarkable. He's keeping up his scoring stats, while doubling (or more?) his assists. What a beast. Keeping the Rockets alive on his own. Do they have the assets to trade for a solid playoff run?

When Curry isn't making his shots he is awful, 1-9 from three and 5-16 overall against the Celtics, honestly what does he do other than shoot well?

I'm glad to see Exum work into some form, I'm hoping big things happen for him, Thon maker and Simmons. It's great to see some big Aussie talents work into their careers.

Good lord, we are crap. To lose like this to New Orleans after being blown out by Bulls at home and destroyed by Rockets is very embarrasing. This is not a playoffs quality team right now, not even close.

Thon Maker will not develop much further at 33.

Lead the league in steals for the past two years and average 7 assists per game. What does James Harden do other than draw fouls a lot?
Rebounds and assists these days. He's a triple double machine.

33? Had to google a bit but it seems people think he might possibly be as old as 23, not 33.
Just kidding. There was just a lot of this talk at the time of draft and I was surprised to see Bucks draft him that high.

Lillard is letting me down big this week in fantasy, really expected more from the blazers. Also lol at the Memphis Dallas game, 36-29 at halftime was hilarious.

You haven't watched Harden in a while, have you? That's the stupidest assessment of him I read here, you do know Harden has the highest assist per game and has the highest offensive rating in the league, and tbh he has been good defensively this year, Currys defense while good is hardly impressive, 7 assists per game is average for a PG as well.
